I have been with Lloyds Bank for over 50 years. I've never had a problem previously. However one visit to this branch for a straight forward request destroyed all of that. The customer service was appalling. I am now in the process of removing funds from this bank as a result.

I am writing to commend Sue at the Lloyds Bank, New Street branch in Birmingham for her outstanding customer services provided. I am an actress and performer and have met all walks of life, including celebrities, and she stands out immensely.Her performance, interpersonal people skills and eloquence is simply astounding. Sue really has a natural flare of dealing with people.I observed her interaction with customers including myself and mother, and its like "watching magic unfold".Sue's demeanour is consistent, efficient, professional and simultaneously friendly.She is an asset to the business, a true gem and should be cherished.I think Sue is truly deserving of recognition or remuneration for her outstanding talent and services. Extremely terrible customer service. Not only are they unprofessional, they speak of that which they don't know of as if its in their jurisdiction. If you don't want to get unsatisfactory service, go to another branch. I wish there is review less that 1 star, I would gladly give them that

Disappointed with the appointment process l, you can't restrict an appointment to a specific day and don't give people choices. It is quite inconsiderate and should be looked into, I have not been unable to complete my account opening process based on this

ID check only between 0900 and 0930! Not made clear anywhere. Had to remind the manager of her responsibilities and need to provide customer service in order to get the basic service needed. Try better Lloyds much better.

The application process for opening an account is complicated. As an international student, I had no idea about the process. I applied for the account online with all of my documents but was never told that I have to go to the bank to show the documents again. After over 7 days, when I called the help line, they told me to go to the nearest bank but didn?t tell me that the bank sees documents only on a particular day of the week. So, I had to return and had to go on a fixed day. These issues could be solved with just an email. Hope they will take initiatives soon as a reputed bank.

Very long waiting times, Only needed to print off previous 3 months bank statements and had been waiting 1hr. Just the 1 staff member dealing with the long line of customers coming into branch

The hours on Google say 1700 closing.The sign on the door is 1500.Several people where upset comparing google maps with the closed door.Suggest that branch managers include public interface checks to manage expectations.
