I had a lovely experience dining at this Indian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious ? full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. From the rich curries to the freshly baked naan, everything tasted freshly prepared and well-balanced. Portion sizes were generous, and the spice levels were just right. A great spot for anyone looking to enjoy quality Indian cuisine. I?ll definitely be returning!

We've had always had a soft spot for the Jilabi for the past 20 years for sentimental reasons but sadly we moved from the area. Fate saw us back in area on Friday, in need of food, with time to kill, but with our puppy our options were limited. It was so good to see Callum still at the helm. He set a special table up outside for us. He and his team couldn't do enough for us. The service was outstanding. The food was really good and great value for money. It was a wonderful trip down memory lane and turned out to be one of the most romantic nights of 2025

Fantastic experience today at jilabi. Family booked a graduation meal for myself and staff went above and beyond. From the food and complimentary dishes to the welcoming and helpful service. Will definitely be returning

When we entered the restaurant the staff were very friendly making us comfortable and showing us to our table. They offered popadoms and took our drinks order promptly. The restaurant was very clean and had a welcome, friendly vibe to it. When ordering the staff offered recommendations to our preferred level of spice (or lack of it). We ordered 3 main curries, 2 naans and 2 side dishes which was more than enough for four adults. Food came in suitable time and it was delicious, some of the best curry we?ve had in a while. We would definitely come back to Jalebi Restaurant again!!

Well what can I say. I have so been looking for somewhere local to sit and eat a good Indian. And well I found it. I'm so looking forward to returning.
Firstly, the decor is just outstanding. The interior design is so majestic the hues of pink, gold and green, just beautiful.
From the moment I walked in I felt like Royalty, and given the decor i could have well entered a Palace it was so regal.
Secondly, the customer service is the best I've ever experienced in and Indian Restaurant. At that DiD make me feel like Royalty. The staff were so accommodating to my needs especially when I was seated in a location and asked to be placed nearer a power outlet, the gentleman's response was satisfyingly accepting. He moved me with no question. And all throughout my entire couple of hours I had the best time. Even had a few jokes in the process. I was taken into the kitchen so I could thank the staff in there at my request.
Last but by far the least... the food. Oh my word. I'm just sat here waiting for next Thursday. It was so good. Upon sitting down you are given a pickle tray and a couple of poppadoms. I ordered my food n stages. Do ordered the starter before I even knew what I was having for the main dish. I had Seekh Kebabs made fresh and to my delight just spicy enough to give me that open head pore feeling lol. (I love that lol) The starter however, was brought out too soon. Therefore I requested it be kept warm for me. And was refused, because the chef manager said they would make from fresh again when I wanted. (Loved that). I had a Chicken Bhuna, with pilau rice for main. yet before that, I saw a gentleman cutting watermelon and asked if I was able to.have some. And to my delight at least 8 small triangles of watermelon we brought to me with a small shot glass of grated ginger (never had that hefore) , rhe combination of the two....Just wow. I WILL be trying that at home. The watermelon was so, sweet fresh and juicy mixed with the ginger was a great combo.
Anyway I received my chicken bhuna and rice to takeaway and at my request for a lot of sauce and not to be dry, they got it spot on. Has to be the best Chicken Bhuna I have eaten since the late 90s.
So if you are wanting all of the above. I would suggest a visit it. However be careful. You may just get hooked
Oh and whilst I was there they had a big group of people in for a birthday and what I observed is they really do know how to.cater for large groups. So.book in for your works do, anniversary or birthday. You won't be disappointed.

I really like this place! The staff are super attentive and friendly, and the food is really good -- quite generous portions! I love that they give you two plates of desserts after each meal, which is such a nice touch. It is a bit pricey and the space feels a bit cramped when it's busy, but the quality of the food and the great service make up for it. We went for my dad's birthday and everyone loved it so much we came back for more. We always bring friends who are new to the city and they always leave happy. Definitely recommend!

1st time attending since it had a buffet section. Had a lovely welcome, we never booked but were shown to a table instantly. Everything we ordered arrived under 5 mins ie poppadoms, drinks. We had the buffet. Lovely wide variety. Food was tasty, used plates were taken away within minutes. Staff were very obliging and served with willing smiles. I highly recommend it and we would definitely go again.

I visited on 01 July with my family and would rate the whole experience absolutely amazing.
Specially the service by the manager Abdul & his team was fantastic. They clearly cared about making us feel special and went above & beyond.
Highly recommended place and we will return soon.

What a gem! I discovered this through Google as I was staying for one night nearby and needed somewhere for dinner. The service was very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. For a solo work trip, I was in my element! Also loved that I was told pretty much any of the dishes could be made vegan. I loved the sag aloo mushroom balti and aloo paratha. Would definitely visit again and hope to do so.
