Very rude staff and rude store manager. As i was putting a complain about an incident that happened, she did not take note of who it was with and when i told her how do you know who to speak to , she got offended and said 'you can leave, i dont need your business'.

I'd read an article recently saying that JD Sports sales were slumping, and blaming consumer confidence. When I went into the New Street store, however, it was busy on a weekday afternoon so I thought maybe Birmingham was bucking the trend. I knew which runners I wanted to try on, which were on a display close to the entrance. It all went downhill from there. Trying to get someone to get them in my size was the first challenge - dismissed by the first person I found, then the next one had to get a colleague to do it. After waiting around for a good while, they eventually brought me one shoe and told me to get the other one from the display.
Tried the shoe on and wanted to buy, so got the pitch about joining the loyalty scheme and was then told to go queue, while they kept the box.
The queue was at the back of the store and long and slow. The music is awful and LOUD, and there was noise from all the people, the tired children etc who also had to wait. The mood and atmosphere was also not enhanced by how warm and stuffy it all was.
I could still see the entrance/exit from my spot in the queue and eventually, after it was only slowly edging forwards, I decided that I could just save my money and time and not torture myself any further, so I just left.
Tl;dr: apparently sales are slumping, and I gave up on trying to give them my money because of an overall unpleasant shopping experience. Sports Direct (almost next door) is actually less painful!

This company is disgusting. A woman was being beaten up by a man outside this store and when a member of staff stepped in to protect the woman the shop instead of rewarding the member of staff for doing the right thing they sacked him. Effectively it means JD Sports supports violence against women.

If I could I would give 0 stars. On 18th of July I made an order which was same day click and collected, i went next day to collect my order. When I asked them for my parcel they said its not ready yet and to come back after 2pm. I sent my husband 3.45pm to collect the order still they said its not ready yet and he should have come before 2pm because they do click and collect order before 2pm now he has to come back tomorrow. I had the email and direct message as well where said my order is ready to collect still i had to experience all this. Very slow and Very bad customer service. Never want to go back on this shop. 0 star

Outstanding Service ? Thank You Felix!
I had a challenging experience at first due to some confusion around an online order and delays in delivery, but everything turned around thanks to Felix, the store manager at JD Sports Birmingham New Street.
Felix was incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely cared about helping me. After hearing that I had an international flight the next day and had already faced stress due to the situation, he stepped in personally, offered me a special discount, and helped me find exactly what I needed ? all while making sure I left with my order on time.
His attitude and support made all the difference. This wasn?t just great service ? it was a lifesaver. Thank you, Felix, for your outstanding help, and thank you JD Sports for having someone like him on your team.

As I Used to work in JD sports as a youngster back in 1996 I was Mortified at the service received what?s happened I spent over 120 pounds on two pairs of Junior trainers the lad who served me took an eternity to go to the small lift to get the trainers instead wanted to joke about and act up with his work pals who looked liked thay get paid just to doss round a Till point
Eventually paying for the trainers the lady well girl should I say looked miffed because I?d come to buy and she had to stop laughing with her mate to serve me I say serve it was anything but she never said please never said thank you she literally said card ! I thought this has to be like a little Brittan hidden camera show or some joke where they all burst out laughing and say your on camera
She then said there?s a system era pay again not sorry or anything in the way of apology I had to ask on the sales assistant if or when I?d get a refund has two payments had come out my bank few days was her reply I loved the way she just assumed I?d have another 120 pounds two pay twice she handed my receipts and literally turned her back on me it was me saying thanks then !
Honestly I?d have lasted half a day back in my day with that sh** And then I?d have been walked out and said retails not for you what?s happening John , David sports do a mystery shop see for yourself,s what you paying these kids for ? Or at least train them up on service at the very least Manners

Kura deserves a promotion, she went above and beyond contacting customer service twice to help me secure a refund because the system was a bit of a mess. Thank you Kura for the outstanding service and getting my refund sorted even tho I had lost my receipt. That's what is called going above and beyond in customer service I hope you get promoted.

Came in a few days ago. My experience was horrible. The worker. His name is Imaad, kept asking for my number and would not stop following me around the store. Told a colleague who did nothing. Left and shopped in the bullring. Creepy men should not be working in a customer service job
