Nice pub along with staff. The only reason for 2 stars for atmosphere is simply when I was there it was virtually empty. But I have also been here whilst it has been absolutely packed.

wetherspoons toast is the best ever,,, its always lovely ,,,the breakfast is top class value, no wonder its busy,,tim martin should be running the nhs,, he is world class,,,mr starmer recruit him,try it for 12 mths,,,this guy is the best,,,,,,

This pub is vastly underrated on TripAdvisor due to so called wannabe keyboard warrior "social media influencer" doing a spot check and not being qualified in any whatsoever in formulating a worthy food critics opinion.I have been a member of CAMRA for 10 years and have been a customer of J.D.Wetherspoons for 35 years-so I know what I talking about.This pub has immediate attentive staff,ultra friendly and super professional.This is a real locals' local so the staff and clientele make you feel immediately welcome.

I popped here on the 9.11.2024, the two young guys who were working the bar, are an absolute credit to this establishment. What helpful, charismatic, hard working, young men. If definitely be returning, just to see them, thanks guys, keep up the great work.

Popped in for a few drinks with a friend, as expected. Pleasant atmosphere priced as expected also. Fair dinkum didn't have any food but what I could smell and see from other punters looked nice.

Lovely pub, tables are a bit sticky (to be expected), food and drinks are very reasonably priced and are tasty. Just be warned - the cocktail pitchers are only 4 units for the whole pitcher, so very weak, but only cost 8 quid so can?t complain. Staff are friendly and service is very fast.

We didn't eat here so I've based my star rating for food on other Wetherspoons experiences. The staff were lovely and friendly. The pub was clean and the toilets were spotless. Nice relaxed atmosphere.
