Fantastic hotel with great staff and good food which doesn?t cost the earth. I have been using the hotel regularly to go and watch Aston Villa and the experience has always been excellent. Made great by the front of house staff - especially Monica on the bar. The rooms are clean too and the breakfast is very good. The bar area is also nice and has all the main sports channels. A couple of issues which require addressing to take it to 5 star. The lift has been broken for as long as I have been staying and the car park was previously free for guests but now there is a fee, which isn?t great. Other than that top place to stay and I?d highly recommend.

Nothing beats paying £3+ for a coffee out of an instant coffee machine because the staff can't be bothered to make a proper cappuccino.
Reception couldn't be less bothered, if they tried.
Generally the hotel seems a huge upgrade from what it was but still no more than a 3 star hotel.

Rooms are clean, service is amazing, bar and restaurant staff look after you well, would recommend to anyone staying in Birmingham to use this hotel. Very well done.

The staff are very friendly and amazing. Monica, Joel and Inna are very lovely and super friendly. They joined in with our group conversation and laughter and they took really good care of the group. It?s the second time here and made us feel like home. The rooms are very clean and beds are very comfortable. The food is amazing and there?s great specials every night.
