Very nice hotel. Ended up with a very large room which was bliss. Will use this again if at the NEC for events.

Over £400 a room, and they still expect you to pay additionally for use of the pool and parking. This feels incredibly greedy and poor value for money considering the rooms are average.

A nightmare to check in (NOTE: their check in time is 15:00)! I arrived at 15:02, booking for my room was made weeks ago, payment was requested within seconds and effected as requested but (i) they refused to give me a receipt and told me that it will be provided on check out only; (ii) 1.5 hours after I have still not been given my room; (iii) when I request them to contact me when the room is ready, I am told that they cannot do that and they cannot say for sure at what time the room will be ready, SO I HAVE TO COME AND CHECK WHETHER THEIR HOUSEKEEPING STAFF HAS FINISHED CLEANING! Absolutely not recommended, incompetent reception staff!

Lovely room! The only issue was that the electrics tripped when i had the heater and hairdryer on. Rooms can get quite coldHowever reception, quickly sent someone to fix it.Breakfast is fantastic ,the executive lounge was nice, could be better with more of a selection. Pool is nice, could do with updating, alot of rust and mould could be seenAll in all very nice hotel

My and my colleuges have been coming and staying at this hotel twice a year for the past 9 years as we attend the spring and autumn trade show at the NEC, we love it because of the executive lounge after a long day at the show it?s great to have a bite to eat and a glass of wine or Prosecco, this year we were served by Andrea the manager and James, Neil (I think) and Amelia and we had fantastic service. All staff members were extremely friendly and looked after us every night?. The service from these guys is just 5 star ?? so we look forward to hopefully seeing them again when we stay in September for 5 nights?. Over the past few years the executive food has majorly decreased in the quality, for years there was always soup and 5-7 trays of different foods the past twice we have stayed the soup has been discontinued and there have only really been spring rolls and cucumber pate things which is really bad quality when we are spending more than £350 a night?. Bring back the quality that it used to have and keep your guests happy. You are a Hilton hotel and have a high standard to uphold. We look forward too returning soon ?

Stayed for one night here, most probably never again. Attending The Photography Show.Room 203, bed placed right next to lift, all I could hear throughout the night was ?doors opening? ?doors closing?! Awful night trying to sleep. Base of bathroom door rotten dragging on floor. Carpet very old, supplied with a bashed up old portable heater as it was quite cold. Breakfast was standard, and had to wait in long queue for plates to be washed ! You would expect excellent service and facilities with the Hilton brand, but not at this location.

First time in the hotel and I would highly recommend. Location, rooms, food & atmosphere is perfect for solo business traveler. Special mention to Harriet in the lounge bar, what an outstanding server. I haven?t experienced that kind of customer service since pre-Covid. She was just so friendly and attentive! Thank you.Rooms: Great rooms, however shame there is was no water bottles.Food & drinks: Burger was lovely.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, and wanted to take a moment to commend Liam, the concierge, for his exceptional service. From the moment I arrived, Liam was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met during my time at the hotel.Walkability: The short distance between the hotel and the NEC is a significant advantage, particularly for those with busy schedules or early morning commitments.

Lovely hotel, staff, and service. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside (not a complaint) was the menu in the bar/restaurant, not many options to choose from, but the food we had was lovely.

I booked several rooms here as my company was exhibiting at the NEC. We arrived over the weekend so we could set up with our building company. The staff were brilliant from the point of entry, check-in, the porters, and the staff at the restaurant and bars. Honestly, there is nothing we could fault here. Guest relations were excellent too at attending to our team's needs as there was a mix-up when paying the bill. Thanks guys.

Great location. Unfortunately everything is charged on top. Parking extra. Pool extra. Staff are amazing. Room had a nasty stain by bed and when paying that much for a room I'm surprised to find nescafe. Zero understanding of invisible disabilities which made 3 days work at the NEC challenging. Not staffs fault. The food was amazing. Its worth raising awareness to this ongoing issue that few businesses address of supporting those with disabilities. I phoned in advance but was put a long way from the lifts through the heavy fire door. After delivering 6 speaking engagements it was additional exhaustion and altered my ability to enjoy.

I only had a basic room but all amenities catered for. Service is excellent and staff are very helpful and polite.
