the quality of food here, goes up and down like a yoyo, it has`nt been good for at least half a year, i ordered fish and chips recently. the guy said was cooking chips, however, they were clearly reheated and not fresh at all, the fish was bad too, again recooked and the batter was a dark colour and VERY greasy, in fact the last few times I bought from them i noticed how incredibly greasy the fish was .....
I wont eat here for at least another year, get your act together...... they shouldn`t be selling food like this and allowed to be open........ sorry but you`ve pissed me off. what a waste of £8, i threw most of it away

its ok the scollops are really good and the servers are aswell but the chips are bland as they put like no salt and vineger on

The food at Hi Tide in Kings Heath was terrible, but the salad stood out as the worst I?ve ever been served. It was old, dry, bitter (cucumber) and clearly not fit to eat.
The staff showed no care, no effort, and no pride in what they were doing. It felt like no one there wanted to be.
The owners should be ashamed of the standards they?ve allowed. I am angry and disappointed. This place should not be in business.
I am never coming back.

I've ordered again from here to see if they got my order right...nope. what I don't get is that you pay alot for the food and it's totally bone dry il be honest I binned it and rang my bank to get my money back. It's the worst place to spend money in. I thought king kebab was bad lmao. FIX UP OR LOSE

Finished work, on my way home stopped at Hi Tide about 10pm Sunday, never been to this shop before, picked up large Cod and Chips. Got home laid out the food on a plate.. Cod very oily and too much batter on it. The Chips were the worse I have encountered, absolutely appalling, it?s like they were out of a dustbin. My 1st and Last visit to this place. What?s shocking is that can the people cooking or serving cannot see that standard of the chips is really bad and should not be served. I very rarely complain about food places, but this was really bad. Hopefully this shop can improve by reading this review.

I am a regular customer but I swear the skinny Asian guy is the worst. I order a large kebab, he give me small potion of kebab and loads of chips. He also keep touching his nose while touching the food. Absolutely disgusting. It?s the guy that was in around the evening on the 09/07/24.
I prefer the regular two guys (the slightly chubby Asian guy, sorry uncle) and the Arsenal fan.
I?m sorry hi tide but I can no longer come to this establishment if that?s guys there. Nothing personal.

Have to say heard a lot about this place was very very disappointed. The chips were stale and not tasty at all, the chicken fillet burger was rubbery and seemed to be a processed lump of chicken very disappointing, the mix meat and cod was nice, they do accept card as well.as long as it is over 7 quid overall disappointing.
