Food was okay. Served quickly. Unfortunately we must say the price is too high. It looks overpriced in everything

Vue Cinema at Star City is abit of an institution in Birmingham over the decades.
It has however seen better days with clear signs of financial struggle.
There are plenty of films including international ones to cater for everyone with accompanying food outlets within for your needs.
The Star City car parking outside is plentiful and safe.
The toilets are generally clean so no real issues there.
This time the film I watched was playing in Hall 26 where the back row seats and arm covers were clearly torn.
The cleaning staff were there before the showing so would have been aware of the issue for a while. The front customer sales person did not mention these damaged seats so imagine unknowingly paying for these seats in advance? That's why it is risky booking seats in advance. It's better for you to make enquiries beforehand at the sales booth once at the cinema when buying your tickets.
Other than that, the hall was at a good temperature and clean.
The sound and picture quality were good.
Vue Cinema in Star City is still worth visiting (especially if you have Sky VIP free Cinema tickets every month).

I recently visited StarCity in Birmingham for bowling, based on the recommendation of my colleagues. However, I must express my dissatisfaction with the overall experience.
The bowling alley was satisfactory, but it did not meet the standards of the bowling alleys I usually frequent in Leicester. The atmosphere was chaotic and not conducive to a pleasant experience. Despite the lack of a significant crowd, the place felt overly crowded.
Furthermore, the arcade, which was intended to provide entertainment for my children, proved to be a source of frustration. My coins became stuck in one of the machines, necessitating assistance from the staff. Unfortunately, instead of resolving the issue, they simply returned my coins and advised me not to use that particular game due to its malfunction. Additionally, several other games were inaccessible. To add to our disappointment, when we attempted to redeem our tickets at the ticket eater machine, no receipt was issued. Fortunately, the service personnel acknowledged the number of tickets we had and manually distributed prizes to my children.
The cleanliness of the mall was also a major concern. The washrooms were unpleasant, and the overall appearance of the building was outdated. While the restaurants appeared clean, the unappealing environment deterred us from dining there.
In conclusion, my visit to StarCity was a complete disaster, and I will not be returning.

Great entertainment facilities for the whole family. Softplay and rides for the children. Movies(Vue cinemas) and good desi restaurants like Zauq buffet, Sher khan etc. Chaiwala has opened just now. Nando's, Taco bell, McDonald's available too.
