The team were very polite and helpful and fitted a new battery straight away upon request unlike Kwikfit who completely ignored my existence until I finally gave up any hope of being served and went a few doors down to Halfords.

I recently booked my car in at Halfords Cotteridge in Birmingham for an MOT & full service & I must say that from the time I booked my car in I was kept informed by email as to what I should do prior to my visit. On the day of my appointment, everything went so smoothly & Wayne the chap on reception explained everything to me & I was even kept informed by phone & email as to how things were progressing. When I arrived I was advised about what work needed to be carried in the future & was even given quotes for that work, which I found to be very reasonable. I would most certainly recommend Halfords Cotteridge to friends & family

Do not use for MOT assessment! Was told MOT had failed with numerous expensive problems. Took car to another garage for assessment was told non of the issues were enough to fail. Other garage passed MOT. Terrible!

Took my car in for a service and to have new window wipers fitted when I picked it up I noticed oil finger prints on my wheel arch and being a white car you could notice it so why wasn't it cleaned of
Then this morning put rear wiper onto clear moisture of window and it only cleared part the window in my break i checked it and noticed the blade had not been put on properly
Will not ben returning

Great guys, helpful and friendly. I always find prices are good and work very professional. Unlike other garages over the years I never feel pressured to have extra work done and trust if I'm.told something needs doing it's a fact. Never feel uncomfortable leaving car with these guys.

If you do any service or MOT, and Halfords finds that repairs are needed, the cost will be very high. Although they handle problems professionally, the amount you spend will be significant. Compared to other garages, their repair costs are about 30% higher. Everyone should think carefully before deciding.
