I paid to have my rear light bulbs replaced , a young lad came out who looked like he'd rather be doing anything else other than change them , he briefly tired undo the screws said he couldn't get them off went back in came back out said manager said advice her to go to garage , I never got offered any money back , after waiting for forever to get out of the car park as it was rammed I left totally fed up up, I wouldn't bother going again glad I didn't join their scheme they were offering.i given one star as I can't post it with none.

We bought a car seat from Halfords Selly Oak (battery retail park) and James was so very helpful! We didn't have a great experience with car seats before but James went out of the way to explain options to us. We truly appreciate that Halfords offers the car seat fitting service where free-of-charge, they actually check that the car is fitted into your car (James checked your car for compatability before we even bought the car seat) plus Halfords also offer to adjust the car seat properly to suit your child, including adjusting straps etc. James then double checked that we knew how to fit the seat ourselves too, and that we were fully educated on how to optimuse our child car seat! I think it is this service which sets Halford apart from online retailers, even if the onkine retailers may be marginally cheaper (which was not the case for us - Halfords had the best deal for this one) - the excellent car seat fitting and customer service is also provided free of charge and I shall certainly purchasefrom Halfords again. Thanks James!

The shop seems woefully understaffed. Clearly some customers have complex needs eg. Help to identify the correct part, and then questions about installation. But with only 1 guy at the till the whole place grinds to a halt. I collected my order after a 10 minute wait. I did want to buy some additional items but decided to go elsewhere as I couldn't face another wait at the till.

very bad customer service very rude staff members. i went to buy a gift for my husband and don?t know much about car things and i asked them to help me and they were being so rude saying why come when you don?t even know.

Worst halford ever! Staff are very slow and dont care about the queue in front of the till. Also the guy send me to bike section to collect brake pads for my car! Awful experience.

Had to visit Halfords in Selly Oak ( twice in three days ) & found the young girl on my first visit & a young chap on my second visit to be extremely helpful & knowledgeable where cycles are concerned. I would certainly use this branch again if I had any problems with bikes Strongly recommended
