I visited the Timberley Lane Gregg's at around 2:40 pm on 8th October 2024 and was served by a young woman with short brown hair. I noticed she was scratching and rubbing her face while serving. When I pointed out the hygiene issue, she dismissed my concerns, saying she wasn?t directly touching the food. However, she was handling the paper used to serve it, which is still a hygiene risk. I expected better standards, especially given the importance of food safety. Very disappointed.

Would be 5 stars if it wasn?t for a new member of staff (Karen). Worst service I?ve ever received. Not welcoming at all never says please or thank you and makes the worst coffees ever how can I order a mocha and it be water and chocolate powder disgusting. Won?t be going there again if she?s on the till she?s terrible. Crazy how such a vibrant place can turn so dull due to one member of staff.

Bought 2 sausage rolls to eat in, assuming they would be hot. They weren't. They were barley tepid. Disgusting - never again.

It was CLOSED TODAY !! 3/11/22, Never used this branch before ..but staff were very accommodating...pleasant ..and eager to please ..will visit again ! Coffee was good ..allowed to utilize my own cup ..and steak bake was very nice..as was the fresh bread pudding !!
