The first thing you notice about this branch when you walk in is how clean and bright it all looks inside. Sometimes the basement levels of these places can be a bit dingy, but not so here. It was a genuinely inviting and pleasant environment to browse around. The layout was clear and well organized, found everything I was looking for (last issue of Transformers 23 on the shelf, where did they all go?)
Everything you would normally expect from a branch of Forbidden Planet and I would definitely pay a return visit if I was ever in the area again.

Great shop for any collector or comic fan. Nice selection of figures, comics, graphic novels and many other collectible items. Not a massive store however as mentioned they have a great range of products. Staff are brilliant, location is great too as it is close to some hotels and there is also a tram stop just outside.

Staff are always really friendly and have a good stick of everything (that isn't in high demand) When rare/popular stuff id stocked they always do it fairly for everyone and scalpers don't really have a chance ?

Amazing shop for every nerd out there.
Clean and well maintained store with a great selection of merchandise and pop culture items, as well as books, manga and quite a few pins and patches.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
I will be coming back there for sure.

Not helpful really not interested in going above and beyond to help customer service wise
Happy to take money and delivery quick sales but anything they have to look for or are unsure of you will just be dismissed rather than the issues/querie looked into
not impressed and will be taking our future business else where
Other tcg stores were happy to help and try and give me information on the products we needed
Forbidden planet has dropped the ball on this occasion

Bought something and asked to use the student discount and presented my student id card to the man behind the till, David, who then mumbled something in response and said ?I?ll let you off? and gave me the discount. ??? Let me off of what?? It?s a valid student ID card, it is in date until 2026 when I graduate from university. Serious attitude from David for no reason whatsoever, so unnecessary.

Followed around the store by a staff member, then the guy on the till made a snide comment about my girlfriend?s student ID under his breath, saying he?ll ?let [her] off?. Recommend visiting Worlds Apart for a more pleasant experience in a proper comic store!
