I?ve been buying records from Rich who runs Ignite for the best part of 20 years, going back to when he worked in Tempest Records, before they closed and he opened up Ignite. He?s always got a great range of stock across every genre going, his knowledge is second to none, he?ll always have something to recommend checking out, go the extra length to try and get hold of a record for you, without him Birmingham?s record buying folk would be lost, he?s genuinely one of the good guys.

If youâ??re in Birmingham, seek out Ignite Records in Oasis. Friendly chatter from the owner Rich - great guy, large varied range thatâ??s well looked after, good prices which are better than the high street (the titles Iâ??ve bought so far are even cheaper than online!). Having not shopped anywhere specific for a year or so, Iâ??ve now found my new local! Do yourself and your wallet a favour by supporting this great little independent record store!
