It's a Costa, same coffee as outside the airport but more expensive. It does have a large seating area with an arrival and departure board. The server was polite, prompt and well presented.

Barry and his colleague whose name I didn?t catch at this Costa were amazing and couldn?t do enough for us and our little boy. They?ve really made our trip so far and put us in a great mood to start the rest of our holiday. A***

This is the second location of costa which I have tried. This place has a nice ambience and is a good place to sit and spend your time. I had a flight early in the morning and had a layover of about 9:00 hours. Stayed couple of hours here and had good time. Their mint tea is nice and the snacks they got are great too.

We were stuck in Birmingham airport waiting for a connecting flight with my dad who had been ill from cancer. There were no seats so most of us had to borrow some chairs from Costa including my dad who really needed one as he wasn?t feeling well. When they opened up, a rather angry woman who was opening demanded we gave back the chairs for the customers. We asked if my dad could keep his as he wasn?t feeling well and he was frail but she wasn?t having any of it and demanded the chair back he was using. We said he was ill with terminal cancer and said he wasn?t well, but the woman still wasn?t convinced and so in the end we had to give back the chair so he had to sit on the floor uncomfortably.I think the staff here should either have basic training on human compassion, or maybe employee staff with an actually heart and soul, and not the void husks that seem to be running this Costa branch.For shame on the staff you employ at this branch Costa, the worst of humanity.

Not impressed. Realised my cup was dirty when I sat down. I was told to join the queue if I wanted anything. Very rude
