Due to a faulty earring that we paid over £105 for, (having been advised the gold earrings contain nickel except for the pure jeweller's gold earrings), after the piercing this was very difficult to remove. Instead of the earring separating as it should from the back, some gold from the clasp snapped off, the stone fell out and the clasp was forced back into my child's ear causing significant bleeding. I've spent around 2 hours on 3 calls to customer services and no answer. Store refused to refund. I would steer clear of Claire's. If something goes wrong it can go very wrong. This was the second piercing as the first failed, also at Claire's.

There free earrings offer is a con, been waiting for 6 weeks for the email voucher. Emailed head office and no reply. Tried calling three times and after 50 minutes wait, no one answers. Spoken to the store and got no where, they revert you back to Head Office.In the process of speaking with trading standards.I have to give a 1 star as no zero option.

Poor quality customer service, I placed an order online only for them to say it's later out of stock. Been a month and still have not received my refund, won't be purchasing from here again.

Made an online purchase in October, they said their delivery service (DHL) lost the package. Made the same purchase in November, they used a different delivery service (DPD) and the package was lost once again.Needless to say, I will never order from them ever again. The only positive things I can mention are that they replied fast to the customer service emails, and refunded me immediately both times.

Avoid Claires inCheshire Oaks specially the lady who does the piercing. Ignorant, rude, shop run incompetent people who think they can treat customer like stupid cash machine. Awful customer service. Will never ever use this shop again.
