“Have been part of this amazing church family for 21 years. A proper church family that displays the grace and love of Jesus. All accepted just as they are. A great community to become ‘home’ for all who come.”

“The tea lounge is part of St Martin's Church. A warm welcome awaits everyone who visits. In addition to tea, the aroma of coffee welcomes you here. “I was baptized in this church shortly after I was born in the 80's. I became quite rebellious in my childhood/early teenage years and eventually didn't attend much. More because certain people close to my upbringing were what I would call "Sunday christians" and very different people outside of the church community. So I didn't have much faith as it were at the time.

A lot has changed now I imagine, but under the previous Vicar, Greg Mensing (around turn of the millennium until ten or so years ago), the church became a fantastic place with a vibrant and welcoming community. That's not to say there weren't some great members since I wasn't old enough to remember. But looking back, he turned the church around (as did the members), became something of a inspiration and father figure for the younger members, and it truly was an extended family for me personally and I hope it is still like that today.

I was blessed to have grown up with such a wonderful extended family. And a place that now has such a history with so many stories to be told. So I'd just like to say thank you to all from those times for being great members of the church community, and in some cases having such a positive impact and influence on my life no matter how small. Some members have sadly passed on, who I haven't forgotten. I am no longer in the UK for over a decade now. But I will return one day and hopefully share some stories, and will also attempt to write to people personally if I can find contact details :)

“We started the junk food project there years ago. We then moved to ladywood. Since then similar projects have started. The one at All Saints is part of Active Wellbeing Society for which you need to be a member. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant helpful staff. Opens 3 days per week for lunch. Ive been to the church setvice a few times usually for funerals and once for St Kitts Nevis Independence Celebrations. The church staff were friendly and helpful”

“Been there a couple of times. Friendly people but sadly the organisation does not share the same vision as the founder William Booth. Every Sunday is not about Christ and Christ alone. No more preaching of the true gospel. Every week is now all about money, raising more money and social justice and climate change...Missed the good old days where there was strict teaching of a true holy spirit filled discipleship studies to prepare us for CHRIST'S return.”
