I tend to avoid now. They just don't care about you waiting in long queues, despite others behind the counter just looking at the pc. White woman with glasses has a bad attitude and point blank refuses to search, despite long queues.

Often opening late, when they finally get there, they just state won't be open for another 15 minutes. Often waiting a long time to get served. Always a woman with dark hair that refuses to serve, despite big queues and being in the queue for a long time. She's often just looking at her PC.

1 star from me. This place is very poorly run. First experience: I take an ASUS ROG to trade in, then tried to B grade it because the screen had dust on it. Then I wiped the dust off, then all of a sudden it's an A grade. Second experience: trading in a phone, B grade, which was fine. They then told me it was water damaged. The phone had never seen the light of day of water. They have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Then the wire was missing from the phone; they lost it. Always massive queues in the store. I would avoid this one and use another. Acocks Green is much better.

Service is extremely slow. Been a few times now where I?ve been waiting for over 15 minutes to be served. I wouldn?t mind it was busy but every-time there is 4 members of staff behind the till and only one person serving. They are either just hardly doing anything or tapping away on their computers but can?t stop for 5 minutes to serve me. Customer service is clearly not a priority to the staff here

No stars don't work !
Purchased a Galaxy Z4 flip £310 with 5 year warranty. Been in twice for advice stuff not working as should. After hour Asked to go to Unloc at market ( nice guy been before) NO WILL LOSE WARRANTY. err money back ? New phone. Go then ok. Manager would not give her name?
Back in 3mins sorted unloc not touch only ask.
Was simple.
Back to CeX was embarrassing! Manager said thanks for info. And young man apogised. Bad customer service. How good is my warranty?

Twice now, I have taken controllers to sell. The first time, I was told they wouldn't accept the controller due to it being a custom controller.
The second time, I took a standard controller that just had a pattern in one corner. Again, it was refused for the same reason. Member of staff that served me couldn't have been more diss-interested in helping me.
Then they walked away and came back and said the warranty sticker was scratched off, voiding the controller. Which is strange, because I only received the controller the same day brand new. Thus, I have to query who voided it.
Also, when I always ask if they have a certain item, they never have any in stock.
they don't seem interested in my custom. And although i can't confirm it, I'd have to question if they void warranty just so they can reject an item, as why would a brand new controller I only got an hour before, have the warranty sticker removed, when the box was sealed before I got it..
And when I took my switch in to sell. Was told to come back after 12 pm the day after. When I asked why, they said they didn't have the money. When I asked why, after 12 pm? They said it wouldn't be tested until the day after. BUT kept the switch. Now I'm pretty sure that they could have done anything to it and claimed it was defective. And the shop wasn't busy. One staff member was eating what looked like a greggs wrap, and another a doughnut. So yeah, they looked like they were really rushed off their feet.
Won't be returning to this store. It used to be great. Now it just seems like they just stand there doing nothing.
