Very bad experience to buy two airpods from Cex king heath b14 7bw 121 . The staff members were bullshit . I just want to replace one airpods because it had a charging problem even not returning. The other airpod was okay . But the three staff arguments with me they were telling me the policy online but when i was buying these things they didn?t mention the policy or anything. Very bad and arrogant staff there ,

CeX is a great place to buy and sell electronics, games, and gadgets. I?ve found some really good deals here, and the prices are usually fair compared to buying new. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and they always explain things clearly when trading items in. Sometimes it can get busy, but overall it?s a reliable store if you?re looking for second-hand tech at decent value.

People working there are not friendly and when you ask for something they don't want to do they give you attitude and make up random rules. Don't recommend.

Terrible, got sent over from Dudley to pick up a game that was meant to be in stock in kings heath.
When I get there no game, condescending scruffy looking staff who think they know better than anyone.
When they did eventually find the game after I suggested they actually have a look in the disks.
It has no box yet I'm still asked to pay the full asking price. I have been on a 40 mile round trip for nothing and the staff attitude was terrible. Rather than trying to help just tried to blame the other store. Terrible customer service and a store run by amateurs and fools

It's so bad because when i need to sell my ps4, he tells me you can't sell ps4. i say why you can't he said that because someone opened the ps4, and i said you are open to fixing my ps4 he said we can't pay, and this is the rule .

Slow being served due to the high number of people trading in, but service was speedy, friendly and efficient when someone became free, parking can be tricky, but they have a good selection of items.

I was at CeX yesterday, I was served by a lady named Kathleen she has great customer service. I was looking about buying an iPhone 16, unfortunately the people at Northfield had misquoted me and Kathleen showed me the correct evaluation of my phone and different shops that I could get the phone as Kings Heath didn't have it. Her customer service skills were incredible and we really hit it off - she made me feel very welcoming!

I visited here on Wednesday, and was served by a young man (looked 18-20). I have to say, he didn?t know what he was doing and my first ever exchange at cex didn't go well.
I explained i had submitted a drop and go online for this store, and that i needed to drop my games off to the store and that cex had taken my online banking details to transfer me the money.
After asking me all my details such as my postcode and door number and confirming my details which were on the system at Cex, the worker said he?d give me the cash in hand. I even asked again - saying that the website took my details and that i was sure that they were supposed transfer the money online, But he told me that was not the case.
He looked around to find the 19£, and when he didn't find it, he asked me if i had a pound coin for some reason.
Then, he said i needed ID for them to be able to take my games. I didnt have any ID on me, so i was turned away and sent home to come back next time with ID, even though they had all my details on the system anyway to verify who i was. (such as my address)
Ok, so the next day i came again with ID.
Served by the same young man again, i showed him the email straight away which explained that this was a ?drop and go? and that i was to be transferred the money to my bank account, in exchange for the games i was selling to them.
This time round, he didn't even ask to see my ID and sorted the exchange for me! The day earlier - i was sent home because i didn't have ID, and now a day later he doesn't even ask to see the ID and takes the games off me straight away.
For a first time experience with Cex this was terrible, this employee clearly doesn?t know how to do their job. Disappointing.

Great people are working at this store. The service is excellent. Purchased a Switch, got a really good px on my item. I would definitely recommend it.
