Helpful staff. Lots of tech choices. Prices are not as cheap as I expected and compared to other shops, but it's in city centre, so their rent and bills must probably cost more.

Decent store but the last 2 times I've visited, when I was waiting in line an employee would walk up to me and ask me to wait over where that red table is, and they would complete the transition there. I would definitely prefer to just normally check out but it's alright.

I spoke to a girl called Rhiannon who helped me purchase a tablet. I am not good at tech stuff, but she was so patient and took her time to explain everything. I was so nervous about buying a tablet imcase I ended up with something I didn't really want, but Rhiannon was so kind and helpful and didn't make me feel rushed at all. She gave me lots of options and I'm so happy with my purchase. She is a fantastic memeber of staff and I would definitely look for her again if I needed to buy any more tech items! THANK YOU RHIANNON!!

A massive shop.
Personally I love CEX because is a good option to save the planet, reuse the games and electronics that they sell there.
This shop is big and you can find basically everything that you need, I have to add that in every CEX shop the staff looks happy and always friendly, I think that they really love what they do.
As mom I always came here because I can buy video games a really wonderful prices.
So for me second hand items will be my first option to buy.

I visited the CeX Birmingham Central store today to return and refund a tablet I purchased two days ago. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was met with unprofessional behavior from a tall staff member. He attempted to find faults in the tablet to avoid processing the refund. When he couldn?t identify any issues, he began to mistreat me. I waited for an hour and a half for him to call me and provide the device report, but he never did. Eventually, I approached him again to ask if it was ready. He rudely claimed that he had called me long ago and that I hadn?t responded, even though I had been standing there watching him the entire time. When I requested to speak with the manager, he dismissed me, saying the manager was ?around here somewhere.? He then left and kept me waiting for another half hour. When the manager finally arrived, he asked for the purchase receipt, which I had already provided at the beginning. I?m truly disappointed that the manager employs such rude and unprofessional staff. During my conversation with the staff member, he repeatedly hit his own head forcefully; it seemed he had serious issues and was unfit to work in such an environment. I will never return to CeX Birmingham Central. I hope the store starts valuing customers? time and dignity by hiring polite and competent staff.

The tall man working at the store was very slow and didn?t interact with customers properly. It affected my shopping experience. I would suggest being more mindful about the hiring process to ensure staff provide better customer service.
