Visited with friends and while the atmosphere was welcoming and the drinks were very good there was a downside to our visit. There were at least 4 people who I saw order take away drinks then sit down at tables to drink them. I did point this out to staff but was told that people sometimes do that. I was half tempted to ask to have our drinks in paper cups and have the difference refunded. I know it may sound petty, but what's the point in charging less for take out then letting people drink in

Rude staff, no acknowledgment that I was stood waiting for over 5mins yes while 2memberw of staff had a conversation about their outside lives and ignored me. Il stick to lower floor grand central thanks

Pretty bad customer service, if not the worst one among all those Neros I?ve been to. Especially from the lady who got her face done heavily (fake lips and such).

Came in just over an hour before closing time - staff were cleaning and took a minute or so to acknowledge me at the counter. Annoyingly was served in a paper cup because ?we?re closing soon? - if I want to drink in I don?t see why coming in a whole hour before closing time mandates disposable cups only. Drink was OK. Bits of the seating area were closed off meaning what seats available were mostly full - only one table free to sit (surely if there?s still demand at this time you don?t close off areas of seating?). Also some kids sat in that clearly hadn?t bought anything and were brazenly eating food from elsewhere (staff didn?t bat an eyelid). Not the usual Nero standard. If you need time to clean pay staff to stay a bit after closing time so you can maintain the same service up until then.

Worst Nero I?ve ever been to.The girl at the till wanted to serve me from all the way to the queue and was pulling a face when she couldn?t hear me.Whilst I was placing my order, she would look at her colleague and not make eye contact or even try to hear what I was saying to her.Then she proceeded into asking me ?what??, so had to repeat my order.She gave me my food and cake, and then asked me again if I want anything else, forgetting my coffee. When I said ?and a cortado?, she then said that I could have said that earlier to her as my food will now be cold, but I did say it earlier to her, twice.She then proceeded to start having a conversation with her colleague and making jokes giggling, completely forgetting I was waiting for my coffee at the side of the till.5 minutes later she looks at me and says ?ah, yes? and asks her colleague to make it.Didn?t even apologise, placed everything on the tray and passed me the tray with a burned coffee and cold food.No napkins, no cutlery, and it wasn?t even that busy, the queue had 3 people.Great atmosphere, but people like that really hate to be there, ruining our whole experience of wanting to chill for a coffee. Made a bill of £15 to leave disappointed.

The young man called Row amazing service, was stuck on the bar by himself serving customers out the shop. The green haired lady was talking to someone for 20 minutes instead of working!!!

Unprofessional staff: I overheard staff backbiting previous customers. Whatever your opinion on those customers was, you should keep those sorts of comments for after work. It is not etiquette to laugh roaringly loud in front of customers, nor is it appropriate to have a joke and chit chat with coworkers while customers are waiting ages to order or receive their orders.Long wait times: There was a long wait time (although the queue itself wasn?t that long), yet only one person serving. That person was serving customers and making drinks at the same time. Simple rebalancing of staff would have made the wait times a lot shorter. I.e. one member of staff serving customers and the other making the drinks.The main issue here is the staff. Some seem more interested in looking busy rather than actually getting on with things.

Always busy, customer service is not good, they don't smile, some can be abrupt and not friendly. The purple hair lady is the only one that's kind and always smiling.
