Service realty great , pleasant atmosphere .

I visited this store and I was extremely shocked at this service. We were paying customers and needed to use the toilet. The man working there kissed his teeth and said why do people always need the toilet when I?ve just cleaned it in a rude tone. However he did apologise for this. But then I went to order and pay for my drink, the woman kept giving me dirty looks and was just staring at my face, making me feel intimidated. I then had to repeat my order several times as she wasn?t focused because she was too busy asking her colleague what had happened with the toilet situation when it was none of her business. I can?t believe the experience I faced as a loyal customer. I asked the lady for her name however she stuttered and she refused as she felt ?uncomfortable?. Absolute disgrace

Dirty cafe. Staff don?t clean up trays and dirty cups left on tables. Service is slow. Probably the worst Café Nero I?ve ever drank in.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Good coffee at just the right temperature. No background music (thankfully!). A bit rough around the edges and the toilet was a bit of a disaster zone, but I think that's every city centre coffee shop toilet is like anyway

There are three things that are certain in this life; Death, Taxes and that you will enjoy a fantastic hot chocolate at Café Nero on Corporation Street.
These coffees have been masterfully crafted by talented batistas , who have undergone intense and incredible training to provide a service , which is second to none.
The first time I tried the Hot Chocolate, I thought it was outstanding but sometimes in life the sequel doesn't hit as hard as the original. A week later, I went back to try it again and to my amazement, I found that this hot chocolate that I had the second time around was substantially and significant better than the OG version.
Perhaps a change in the syrup did the job, but I have subscribed to the idea that having "the usual" hot chocolate may not always be a bad thing. Lightning does strike twice in life and it can cause more destruction the second time around in a good way !
The baristas who served me, whose names were Afiyah and Callum, were extremely professional and deserve to be rewarded and given a pay rise for their consistent and calm performances.
There are 4 Café Nerros (I didn't even know this till today to be honest) but the one on corporation street is the best one. It's the only one, where I will be treated with respect and have a good rapport with the barista ! I've not tried the other ones, but I don't really want to when I have consistency in this one.
You may try to go to other Cafe Neros thinking that the grass is greener on the other side, but sometimes the grass is AstroTurf clearly! To give you an example... it's like when you buy a new car thinking it will be better than the old one, just to find it gives you even mire problems than the other. It's better the devil you know.
Go to this Cafee Nero. This is the only consistent one !
I genuinely don't understand why a customer would even complain about their coffee here. If they aren't happy with the coffee, then why do they still go there. Some people just winge for the sake of winging and it makes other people around them miserable. Some customers need to get a life or get a wife!

I have to make a complaint regarding the horrible customer service I received this afternoon 08/20/2024 around 5.10pm from one of the employees call: (Caitlin) at Caffè Nero, 74 Corporation St, Birmingham B2 4UQ.
While my son was in line waiting for cappuccinos to drink along with other things and ready to pay after waiting there quite a long time, this girl: (Caitlin) told me, my wife and my daughter with Down syndrome that we had to get up, i.e. we got up because he had to clean and arrange these tables. This was very irritating, arrogant and unpleasant for us, also because we couldn't express ourselves very well in English. My son, who speaks it very well, spoke to this girl but she didn't seem to see any reason and started with what she already had in mind, that is, evicting and kicking out the customers.
"Just one clarification and consideration is that we were already sitting there, near the entrance waiting for my son and my wife had also already taken out some plates and cups there to have the tables clearer and cleaner." However, this girl did not want to listen to any explanations. We sat there for a while before he arrived. This girl can't tell customers to get up because she was in a hurry or maybe due to other personal problems. Another reason for my complaint is because my disabled daughter wanted to stay there and look at the windows and people passing by and therefore not feel closed in or have that sense of claustrophobia and not wanting to go straight to the back of the shop. Place where unfortunately we had to go even later. This girl behaved very rudely and unpleasantly, always with a bad expression on her face instead of smiling and creating a pleasant atmosphere in that place. My son is a regular customer of this place and had never seen it before. Maybe she's a new employee but, to be honest, we're not even happy with her.

While I was in the queue waiting for my hot drinks and other stuff and ready to pay after a considerable time, this girl: (Caitlin) said to my mum, my dad and to my sister with Down Syndrome to stand up because she needed to clean and tidy up these tables. That was very irritating, overweening and disgusting.
"Just a polite observation and consideration that my family were already sat inside close to the entrance waiting for me and my mother had even already taken out some plates and cups from there."
However, this lady didn't wanted to listen any explanations. My family were sat in that place for a while and she cannot say to customers to stand up because maybe she was hurry or for other personal issues. Another reason of my concern was because my disable sister wanted to stay there by looking the windows and the people walking and passing by and not staying at the back inside the local. Place were we had to go unfortunately. This lady was very rude and impolite, always with bad expression on her face instead to smile and create a nice atmosphere in that place. I am a current customer of this place and I never saw her before. Maybe she is a new entry but to be honest I am not happy with her.

Well-known British coffee chain. It's perhaps the best in the field. Good carrot cake and coffee for £6.50. More expensive if it's takeaway. Friendly and not long service. There is self-service water available.On the other hand, the toilets were blocked without explanation.
