There were a few issues with neighbours parking and he patiently waited for me to sort it out, with no complaints and a continued smile. As I use a lot of the same materials on most jobs this is arranged very quickly and I always get a prompt response to let me know what’s going on with my order and when it will be out. The service provided is excellent.”

“This is the number 1 place to go to. The boss at the front, sadly didn't get his name each time I go, but we always have a great conversation and he's so helpful even when not buying just browsing and trying to learn. Then there was this young man called Jack, new employee who was so kind and so helpful. Put me first even though I mentioned I'm not buying right now just wanting to check it out, and he got out all the tools explained the differences so well between each tool. Answered all my questions without a problem. Top top customer service and I came back in later to buy, and unfortunately didn't see him but saw the boss and informed him that Jack was a great employee and one of the best interactions I've had from a tool/DIY place. “Recently hired a large dehumidifier from Jewson in Stechford. I needed it last minute to dry our an area of my home before new flooring was fitted. I called the branch, got through to the tool hire department easily and was pleased to hear I could go in and collect the unit straight away. The machine did the job, worked perfectly with no issues and was given advice on how to transport it and use it before I left.

I did struggle to fit it in the car, and wanted to give a shout out to Jake in the branch who gave me his own bungee cord to secure the unit so I could get it home. He really saved the day as not quite sure how we would of got it home without this, thanks Jake!

“i order an item on friday and was promised a delivery on Tuesday all i at to do was to phone up on tuesday to find out a delivery time because we had someone waiting on site to fit the item that day but when i call the Nottingham branch they said we haven't got the item so we will have to get it in so we can't deliver it till Thursday morning then i said you new that you didn't have it on friday when i order it and someone told me that someone was going or someone was coming from Lester to drop it off so it could be delivered on tuesday so what happened to my order then do they just forget about it and wait till i phone up so now it's cost me a days wages for the person that was going to fit the item i tried making but they just said sorry and past it back to the story they are not interested in your problems a bad show all round ???I wish to update this review because after i published it the manager at the Nottingham depot called me and was so apologetic about the mishap and promised me that i would get the item delivered the next day before 1o/clock and true to his word it avvived,So i wish to say Big Thank you to the manager and all his team at the Nottingham depot for all the effort they went to.and also for the refund it was much appreciated.”

“Went in to Aston branch today.. in all the years I have been going never have I experienced help as I did today from Katrina and Mustafa. I had ordered on line for a collection however some of the items not as expected.. but with the product knowledge Katrina and Mustafa had they got me exactly what I needed and was attention to details. Sometimes I use other stores but I will try n stick to Aston from now on.”
