Dropped in on off chance as sunglasses needed attention. Hollie very kindly repaired them even though I didn?t purchase from Brittain opticians. Another reason why in my view shopping from an independent rather than big chain high street stores gives a better customer experience. Thank you Hollie , very much appreciated.Russ

Having been very impressed with a couple of pairs of Izipizi reading glasses I bought from Brittain?s I also ordered some Maui Jim sunglasses with a bifocal strip for reading. As well as the obvious use I was also hoping that these glasses would make it easier to see my bike computer. Tried them out on Sunday and expectations exceeded, excellent. Game changer.

I needed to see an optician urgently as I had been having severe headaches. I called a few in the area who were just plain rude and dismissive when I asked for an urgent appointment. In contrast, British opticians were super friendly, and immediately accommodated me for a same day appointment. On arriving there I met the friendly Amanda and was seen by Mat, who did a thorough check up on my eyes. The level of service all round has been top notch. This optician is not near my home, but I?ll travel to them when I need to, because they really care about their customers. Well done British Opticians

Good and thorough eye test, didn't feel rushed and no dependency on machines. I have visited chains before and i felt like they depend too much on machines for a quicker service which in turn, i feel, has a detrimental effect on the outcome of tests.Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable.

Hi its MoThese guys are next level you will feel relaxed, the staff are very friendly welcoming.So i been suffering from refractive error seeing unstable double vision.Went too eye hospital 4 times in one year,They said its just dry eyes nothing to worry about. As time went on my anxiety was kicking in more because i was seeing double from wrong glasses given by specsavers.I went too 3 different opticians. Britian Optician found the problem very quick proffesional also very kind too me as i never had enough money to buy the glasses frame thats suites my face, They let me pay monthly installments which i would like too thank them once again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

A optical shop run by a group professionals who are warm and friendly. Advance booking is necessary.To HongKonger, eye check in UK is good and professional, comparable to standard, scope and quality of ophthalmologist (eye doctors) in Hong Kong.

The best opticians! The staff there are super helpful, friendly and very welcoming. I started coming to Brittain?s after my partner had recommended them and I wouldn?t want to go anywhere else! They have a range of frames which suit everyone and their service is a cherry on top. Always a pleasure when popping in, thank you Matt, Amanda, Nikki and Claire - hope I haven?t missed anyone out! My children?s regular optician had gone out of business and a friend recommended we use Brittain. They are both ?characters? that wouldn?t cope with the specsaver factory which is our other local option.So VERY glad we made the effort to come. Matt was wonderful with both children, their eye exam was really thorough but done in such a really child-centred way.. any questions they had about ?what? or ?why? were always answered at their level. My daughter has dyslexia and her eye test took that into account too, they can even arrange tinted lenses!Both needed glasses and the reason was explained in a way they could both understand and the lovely optician (didn?t catch her name)who helped them choose their frames was a marvel with my indecisive children. She knew what style would suit them but there was a wide selection available so they could still ?choose?. The fitting process was done there and then so I could just collect as soon as they were ready, rather than bring both kids back again.Both glasses were ready within a week and everyone is really happy. Highly recommend and will be definitely using from now on.
