Visited yesterday with colleague during lunch break. I'm interested in china and bric a brac but found the pricing generally overpriced with many items chipped and damaged still commanding high prices. The furniture too seems expensive especially compared with what you can purchase elsewhere. I believe it's false economy to mark up goods to the point where stock turn over must be limited. Please send someone in who can realistically price donated items for sale .

Didn't appreciate a long lecture on women having tattoo's by one volunteer, and another volunteer shouting about how she finds all the best stuff for herself when sorting donations. Only blights on a nice shop.

We found prices higher than any other chairty shop.\\nAnd there was a rude young girl. Yes we know they are volunteers, which I have done. In past.\\n\\nBut it's just good manners to step back or say hello. Rather just pushing past you

Due to the history of heart disease in family and many people I know I would love to be able to donate to the cause but due to the people at work here this is very difficult

I worked there as volunteer for 13 weeks for few weeks it went OK but just recently it was not pleasant at all I was there 3 days a week just 8 hours a week and I was working good but just recently I was working and I told the manager some stuff have sold on the shop floor and she told me to find something in the basket I showed her she said OK I sort it out but I went downstairs not releasing what she meant so I carried on shop floor so she came downstairs looking at the shop things where empty so she starting to screaming at me for what I didn't do right in front of customers I did say to her i did tell u about it but one customer said why she screaming at u then the customer said u doing good job and I said thank you but I been working there 13 weeks and still was learning alot I did say I am very slow learner so be patient with me plz also it's not professional to shout and scream at volunteers in front of customers we all there for individual reasons and we all there to learn I was so upset afterwards I don't recommend working there for anyone

I worked at this shop for 10 months it was friendly and I happy places to be until things started to change as a volunteer I was makde to work 8 hours a week they didn?t let me finish early but let others then unfortunately we had a flood that happened in the bathroom yet I was the blame when I went down on my day off to drop off some donations I had my manager who started to have a go at me in erdington high street. Shouting at me swearing at me saying look at the damage that I apparently do by flooding the shop yet it happened in the middle of the night. Not only that last Sunday I was actually blamed for stealing from another volunteer who claimed that I did and yet no prove and evade so unfortunately I had no choice but to leave and to look else where. Plus when you have texted message from the other volunteer sayings threats to me no way I was going to stay in that place. So I definitely don?t not recommend this place for people to shop in unless you want to be blamed for shoplifting and I. Definitely don?t not recommend people to volunteer in this place because they will give you a hard time there are better places to volunteer

My girlfriend donated some books/DVDs and CD's, and the staff were really grateful for the donation, so it was great knowing that it was all going in to good hands and would be well looked after whilst in the shop. The shop is really well stocked with plenty of choice, and really well managed with people who look like they enjoy working there. The only snag is finding a parking place on the high street, so best to get there first thing in morning whilst there are still places to unload anything you have to donate from your car !

Bought many quality pieces of furniture over the years, at good price. Some were true gems with minimum wear. They only accept quality donations in sellable condition and it shows. Also found many pieces of vintage glasswear, dinner set and some old pottery. Very pleased! Great attitude from staff too. Not to mention the funds go to a good cause.

Decent little BHF shop. It doesn't hold all the big and heavy furniture you expect to see at the larger locations, but there are small gift items and bric-a-brac galore. Seems quite good for women's clothing also.I've always found my experience with the VOLUNTEERS working there to be exceptional, kind and willing to help.

I came into this shop with my baby in a pushchair, the guy who was working on the shop floor was standing sorting things out and very busy chatting away at the same time. i waited for his attention but he didn?t look my way so i excused myself soo i could squeeze past him, without disturbing him, he turned round and said you said excuse me and didnt give me a chance to move, i still said it?s ok - don?t worry and smiled. as i was walking into the shop he started mouthing off and venting to all the customers about me. i was so shocked and felt extremely uncomfortable and walked straight back out. whoever was working today on the erdington high street next to the superdrug branch you were extremely rude and those comments were not necessary - i will be registering a formal complaint.
