We arrived at approximately 8:15 PM to find the restaurant nearly empty, yet we had to wait a considerable amount of time to be seated. When a staff member finally approached us, he had to check whether he could seat us?even though there were plenty of available tables. Despite this, we were placed next to a cold door, which made for an uncomfortable dining experience.
When our meals arrived, my friend enjoyed her dish, but I was extremely disappointed with mine. The menu advertised roasted potatoes, yet what I received were microwaved potatoes, some of which were overcooked. I do not expect to pay £21 for a meal that is clearly not freshly prepared.
Additionally, throughout the evening, it was nearly impossible to get the attention of the staff for a second drink. They seemed more focused on closing the restaurant than serving customers. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to catch someone?s attention, I walked to the bar, only to be ignored once again. When I asked a staff member wiping down tables if anyone was available to serve, I was met with an indifferent response: ?I?m not sure.?
When it came time to settle the bill, the lack of attentiveness continued. I shared my concerns with the manager, only to receive a dismissive ?Oh, sorry about that? with no real acknowledgment of the poor service.
This experience was truly disappointing, and I wanted to bring it to your attention in the hope that steps will be taken to improve both customer service and food quality. Given the lack of care shown by the staff and management, I do not plan to return and will not be recommending The Longbridge to others.

The food here is overpriced, apart from the evening and lunch set menus which are good value. Myself and a friend had the 8oz steak on the lunch menu for £10, the meat they used was of a really good quality and the steak was so tender. Chips were double fried and crunchy. We had the unlimited sodas for £3.40 and had 3 drinks each. We arrived just before 5pm to get the set menu. Service was nice, and our waitress spotted our empty glasses and got us refills without us having to ask. I would definitely go back for lunch again with the special menu

We enjoyed meal here yesterday. The food was very good and the waitress that looked after us (Elise) was very friendly and helpful.

2 for 1 vibes with the quality of food to match, unfortunately the price doesn?t. Double the price it should be.

Visited the beefeater yesterday with the kids and had a lovely meal which was nicely cooked all staff are really pleasant and helpful I would recommend this place for a nice meal out

As our local beefeater has now closed and we had a discount voucher we thought we would try this one. Bit further away but was disappointed.
Food was average and not the best value even with discount.
Chairs and blinds were dirty. No atmosphere. Staff were nice.
It?s not somewhere we will try again.
Wished we had tried Herbert?s across the road
Beefeater used to be lovely restaurants but felt more cafe or school canteen.

Had a mix grill gammon hard and over cooked ordered medium on the steak and it was way under cooked returned the food sausage wasn't much better won't be returning ordered a Stella took that back the barman did tryed it (not out of my glass just a sample and said didn't taste right.)had another lager lovely the 2 lads serving gave a good service but the kitchen need attention

Well , worse meal we had in Beefeater !
3 out of 5 of us ended up with bad stomach , being sick about 3 hours after a meal and no we didn't have anything before or after that potentially could be a cause !
Food was awful, small portions , had to send one meal back to kitchen as it was burned and like rubber...
Seats were dirty from breakfast everywhere !
Would never return , absolutely awful food , experience and cleanliness!

Service is very slow. Food was warm ish on arrival and medium rare steak was almost blue. Mixed grill seemed to have been cooked well however, time served under the headlamp certainly didn't improve it. No check backs to see if food is OK. Sat for at least 20 minutes with barely touched food. Even with 40% off I felt utterly ripped off. Won't be in a rush to get back. Wetherspoons is far superior in every aspect.
