Saturday 4th Jan '25 visit around 3pm
This Asda has gone down the pan. Have shopped here for over ten years and make a trip after using the gym.
I will no longer be shopping here.
There were 4 cashier ran tills open that queues ran into the shopping Isles and the self service queues were thay long, they also ran into Isles. This is clearly a health and safety issues and makes shopping inaccessible for those that are disabled and require clear paths to get around. You spend longer in queues than doing your actual shop.....it took over 20 mins to be served for example.
Management and area management need a serious look into this and why this is now a regular occurrence (staffing?) in this specific store as it is not like this in other Asdas nearby such as Oldbury and Quinton.
I will shop local independent supermarkets now as the hassle just isn't worth it. If I was in any sort of leadership position within Asda, I'd be deeply ashamed

I was with delight I got my shopping paid by this self serving till attendant early morning today when, after scanning my shopping I realised and told her that I had forgotten my wallet.
Amazing
Thank you so much!

Today, we went to ASDA for our weekly shopping and purchased the Seven Seas Omega-3 + Turmeric vitamins, which cost £20. When we got home and opened the package, we discovered that the omega-3 capsules were missing. After checking online, we confirmed that the product should contain 30 vitamin tablets and 30 omega-3 capsules, but we only received half the product.
This is extremely frustrating, as we now have to take extra time tomorrow to return to the store and either exchange the item or request a refund.
This isn?t the first time we?ve bought products with missing parts at ASDA, and it?s disappointing that such situations keep happening. We expect better quality control for items at this price point.

We found a slug the size of my little finger in our salad bag that says washed and ready to eat. We made a sandwich which my daughter nearly bit into. I Returned the lettuce and all they did was give me back my 85p. This is appalling. Back to shopping at tesco for me

Hi I live in the area and shop here quite regularly this Asda has to be the worst shop to shop at the staff are very rude they snatch things out of your hand without asking you if you have paid for it and this has happened a few times I?ve brought stuff from different shops they have snatched stuff out of hand before asking me from where I have brought it from went to pay bills at counter as I had a few bills to pay so I was giving her bills one by one she rudely and loudly asked for all the bills you ask for staff for help they just look at you strangely and speak to you rudely and a few of my mates have had the same experience one of my mate has made a complaint to the manager he hasn?t done anything about I wouldn?t go back crap staff and management and a dirty shop and mostly empty the worst Asda in cape hill

They never have fruits and vegetables in stock. Either in the morning or in the evening, their shelves are a total mess with just a few fresh products. Not to mention not enough organic products available

This is one of the most poorly run Asda?s in the area. Scan and Go is closed early yet you can use your phone or still get hand sets. Staff stand around laughing and chatting. Rude, unapproachable, and unhelpful.
You barely find stock as it?s always missing. The shelves are rarely full in fruit and Veg. Trolleys are broken and it?s carnage at the end of the day with lack of open check outs. You then are spoken to like an invalid.
Aisles are occasionally dirty too with spills left.
Disgusting. I hope the management I sometimes see walking around in their own clothes actually do some managing at some point.
Parking? Ridiculous especially parent and child which is NEVER manned and ensure that it?s not misused.

Disability Parking Spots Potholes... my real score is minus 1
...Asda Windmill Shopping Center Cape Hill... :-(
These below photos are of a pothole that is getting bigger this hollow in a road surface is right near the front door between the two rows of disability parking spots. Is this going to be rectified, or are you waiting for an accident, my mother who has mobility issues has already tripped on the edge of the pothole while I was getting her wheelchair out of the car? This has been like this for months...

This Asda is not a good store to shop at. The tills are never open in the mornings at 8am dispite the long queues. I came to this store a few weeks ago and the baby isle, fruit isle, kids isle wasn?t stocked the shelves were messy and everything was everywhere and were empty. I?ve come to the store today to find that the same isles I wanted to shop at were again empty or messy or not stocked up. Why do you have so many colleagues in store if there not stocking the shelves and keeping things tidy there?s no excuse for not stocking up and tidying up because other big stores also are mega busy but they?re always filled up clean tidy and fills are open. Also came to the pharmacy one time to buy something which I bought from the pharmacy isle which were some vitamins and cough medicine I went to the cash point on the pharmacy department and the lady with the scarf and the actual pharmacist said they can?t serve me to go on the other tills on the other side of the store and we?re very rude they said they can?t serve me even though what I bought was from the pharmacy section I thought that was beyond rude and never ever have i been rejected to get served. I was heavily pregnant also so to walk to the other side of the store was too much for me as I could just about walk to the Pharmacy section because of this I wouldn?t shop at the pharmacy department again after they ruined my day after years of coming to this store they put me off. Update I?ve coming into the store again today and the tills were NOt open again and it was almost 10am the queues were horrendous for self checkout what about the people who are elderly or pregnant etc how can they stand in that queue for so long you?ve given no explanation as to why the tills are never open the store is going down hill.

If you compare Asda cape hill and Asda Great bridge is a big different, Asda CH is robish, always mess, shields is empty, never enough vegetables and fruits, around is boxes some bottles for washing and cleaning is dirty and not nice take in hand, really for Asda CH need change the stuff of employers, manager or supervisor as well, because looks no body care, also forget telling about milk products I seen the date expired two-three times (yougurts) , I will complaining to head office (main office), also forget about the queue always long and people confusing basket and trolley.....
Also toilet not working more then 6 months, what is hard to fix it ????
Asda Great bridge, is very nice, clean and nice, more enjoying in that Asda GB, always shelf is fully , floor clean, never seen expired data .
