Argos customer service is a joke. I went to the shop to with a query on my order and got treated rudely by a shop assistant named Baylie. So I went back home wanting to file a complaint through their online chat system. The chat agent just left the chat as soon as I typed in the chat that I wanted to file a complaint against a shop assistant. Giving two stars, one for the goods and one for the other shop assistant who was patient and kind. Farewell Argos, I wish you good luck.

They can never seem to locate DPD orders and come across persistent that it is not at the store, despite stating on delivery notifications..

The manager of Argos should not be a manager, he?s not confident in his position and gets nervous when a customer complains, calls security and lies when you ask about store policy, if you ask to speak with a manager., his little pittbul colleague is just as bad I think her name is Grace, and the managers name is Simon Reid. If you do need to buy something from there avoid those 2 staff members at all cost. Customer service is non existent

Purchased a phone for the house today from here. Items came out in good time but clearly had been previously opened. Took back and was replaced with a new box which was new. Upon opening the items inside were packaged differently from the first box. I would have thought they should have notified me of this.

Showers are a bit basic but overall a great place for an affordable family getaway. Mr Ribbs' Quiz Night on a Tuesday is treat for all.

I bought a babyliss keratin shine wand last week, but it was too thick, I've got short hair, so I tried to take it back for a full refund or exchange, I was told because I had used it, I wasn't entitled to refund or exchange. On the receipt it says if you're not happy with the product you can return it within 30 days. So now I'm left with a product I can't use. Rubbish service.

Disgusting service in this branch. Every single time I went there were staff standing around gossiping, laughing and slagging people off for all to hear, whilst customers are standing waiting and the queues were building up. The keep you waiting for ages without even acknowledging you, whilst they're talking about things customers shouldn't hear. When I went in to return a faulty item, the server went round the back to get the ok from the duty manager, but she told him that i had to return the item to the store I bought it from, which was Northfield. I told him to go back and tell her that I can return to any branch and I refuse to lug a heavy box down Northfield hight street whilst trying to push my daughter in a pushchair. He came back again and said she said it's got to go back to Northfield. I told him to go and tell her to come out from hiding in the back and come and explain herself, rather than passing on messages through the staff and if she refuses to speak to me, then write down her full name and head offices phone humber and they can explain why she is refusing to refund me... Within 30 seconds he was back happily accepting my return and refunding my money, which shows that she she was just trying it on. If this is the managements attitude, no wonder the staff are the way they are. Aswell as this I have previously made a reservation for a kitchen bin, just to get there and the lid was smashed to bits and the server just rested the lid on the top and STILL tried to sell it to me. Another time they couldn't find my reservation at all, so I gave up and left after 15 minutes of them all scurrying around looking for it, which they thought was hilarious. The final time I went, I had reserved a TV and wall bracket and their card machine was asking for them to call the helpline to authorise the payment, so I was asked to wait whilst they called their card machine supplier. I stood for over 20 minutes whilst they waited on the line, telling each other they don't know what to do. In the end I told them to cancel the sale altogether as I'd had enough and I vowed never to go back to that store again. Do not waste your time going there because you will be disappointed. I prefer to travel to the Argos inside Sainsburys Longbridge instead, where staff or courteous and actually appear to be well trained.

Not a very good day at this Argos store, l buy a Laptop in one of its store, after about 2 hours i realise that this isn't the one for me, so reserve one at Selly Oak just to make one trip not to go back to the store that i went to first.. try to return my Laptop so that i can get the one that i have reserve, only to be told by the manager that changing my mine wasn't a good enough reason to return this item, it was in the original package just the way i had it, the only thing is that the seal was broken, and after 30 mins debate i still didn't to return the one that i wasn't happy with, so what is customer consumer rights... so for this no STARS Put i can''t post with out a post.
