Very busy as expected, difficult to find a seat. We sat by some scaffolding in the corner by a windowsill and about 20 empty glasses.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch.
Fishcakes, fries and a small wine from the lunch menu were delicious and good value for money. Staff were warm and friendly, Cyrus our server was super sweet and happy to see us, he remembered us from our last visit. Appreciate the welcome. ?

Refused entry, part of a Christmas group, we were the older part of the group over 35 and they told us it was booking only. They let these rest of the group is. Ageist door staff, face didn?t fit, recommend many other friendly bars in Birmingham.

Be very wary of their policy to get black and Asian people away from the place they do not allow bubbles in trainers which is what black and Asian people where it?s clever and keeps the place nice and white.

Our server - scottish lady - was lovely.
Food was tasty but portions VERY small (compared with the same meals at other ABO locations).
Big bearded guy at the bar was rude and obnoxious - if someone lacks people skills, hospitality is not the career. He needs to listen to what people are actually saying before making snide remarks to paying customers.
Restaurant resented nicely, service is as quick, but app refused to work and we had somewhere to be and were told to wait for something to be in stock before we could order.

No host to greet us, we had booked a table and no one was bothered, 3 staff were chatting at the edge of the nat 2 walked past us and another couple waiting at the door and none of the did or said nothing to us. At to ask where to sit and told anywhere. We then didn't feel we would get the service your prices suggest we should get so left and got a delivery to the hotel instead. Good luck for 2025 if you can't be bothered to even look professional.

Our meal at All Bar One was fantastic! Every dish we tried was top-notch. Special shoutout to Michael for his meticulous service and friendly conversation. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience.

Cocktail was nice but took a long time to get served at the bar.

A nice bar with a friendly buzz but?.
1) it doesn?t take 3 people to serve one person at the bar.
2) it?s not difficult to remember who?s next at the bar (it?s your job to work this out). Or at least make the floor with an ?invisible zone?
3) if a table is reserved from 7:30 and I sit at it before that time, I don?t need to keep being reminded that I need to move by 7:30.
I would certainly return but please sort out the basics.
And btw ??. Men don?t need separate toilets which result in queues. Let?s get back to the good old urinal and get off the woke loo train.

I had a booking Thursday 5th Dec at 12:15, after a 3 hour train journey I was meeting a client for lunch and a business meeting at All Bar One and while the bar and serving staff where lovely. The man who was running the front of house, was unwelcoming and rude. Dismissive when I was asking staff about my booking and was totally uninterested in my business.
