I approached the self service checkout with my shopping trolley containing (milk, bread, cucumbers, pains au chocolate and eggs) only to be directed to use the checkout till. I explained to the bi-racial female staff member, the self service area is empty, I have a small amount of shopping and a caucasian female customer with a full shopping trolley is using the self service checkout! Annoyingly, the staff member ignored my concerns and fell into the arms of a male staff member. When I interjected the hollywood esque embrace, I was informed the self service checkouts were full! I requested they view the store CCTV to ascertain the truth. This exemplifies the unprofessionalism and appalling behaviour, which I can only put down to prejudice.

Always clean and well-stocked. My favourite Aldi, except when the cricket's on, then it's a nightmare to get to and from.

Such a big store located just opposite to Egbaston cricket ground.More products available so no worries.Also, it has more than 8 self check out machines so you can skip the cashier till and checkout quickly.

Great prices! Me and my partner buy from here all the time, I just wish they had a points system or a car where you can collect point to put towards your shopping etc or get vouchers like all other retailers :)
