Even one star is too much Review for Aldi Store, 273 Stratford Rd, Sparkbrook, Birmingham
I had a very upsetting experience at this Aldi store on 27/06/2025 around 9:15 PM. While I was shopping and paying at the self-checkout, I was waiting for staff to verify my age for purchasing alcohol. I briefly used my mobile phone while waiting.
Suddenly, a security guard spoke to me very harshly, telling me I couldn?t use my phone and accusing me of delaying others, even though I was just waiting for age verification. When I tried to explain, he remained aggressive.
I asked to speak with the store manager and started recording the conversation for my own protection. Shockingly, the manager told me I wasn?t allowed to stay in the store and security forcibly removed me in a rude and disrespectful manner. They verbally insulted me, and their behavior was very unprofessional.
I have a serious back condition, and the rough treatment worsened my pain severely.
I feel I was discriminated against and mistreated. I urge Aldi to investigate this incident fully and take appropriate action

I would like to request to the management that the black security guy bold with glasses should be sacked I have seen him shouting at women front of their kids he thinks he is a bad man he will get sorted out from local residents I have seen him shouting at men who can't speak English because he took the bags and he was told by the staff to go to other till and get a bag I have a video I have posted it to the councillor this bully won't be accepted anymore. I urge the management to replace him otherwise he will get dealt with everyone loves their mother's and daughters and sons jsut because you have a sia badge does not mean you go around shouting at mother's and sons and Co workers I have seen him flirting with young Muslim women this won't be accepted anymore when customers walk past he gives them dirty looks we was waiting for him to come out but he couldn't have the courage to start on men his size I urge the management to monitor this man through cctv if we see him disrespecting the elderly or women he will get dealt with.

I shop at aldi's as they have a great selection of food that's a very good price and I go there for my Newcastle brown it's only £1.75p some of the shops sell it at £2 and £2.20 so yeah that's why they get in five stars a block of cheese at 900 g £4.99p mature nice cheese too I buy my frozen fruit I buy my yoghurt from there I buy many things from there that's why I give it 5 stars
