I can't recommend Albright Opticians enough. My first visit was pre-pandemic on the back of a family recommendation and I was taken aback by the quality of the service and attention to detail versus my previous experiences (sadly, only with big high street chain types). They also gave me probably the first prescription that has ever felt "right" - properly tuned to my needs and comfortable.Today was my second visit, and I continue to be delighted with the service. Simon is a very experienced, knowledgeable and talented optician, who explains every step perfectly, with a very engaging style. He's a great character, and you feel like you are totally in true "expert" hands. When you add his brilliant colleague (and resident style guru!) Pam into the mix, who makes everything tick and gives incredible, honest advice on the eyewear front, with a warm and friendly "personal service" style - they make a truly formidable team.Now I've found this hidden gem, I'm locked in as a customer, for as long as they will have me! My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner... This is a fantastic independent opticians. "Proper" service, putting the customer front and centre. Absolutely first class.

Mr Albright is a wonderful optician and I have recently have reason to be particularly grateful as I was experiencing some strange (apparently atypical) symptoms of detachment. He took a great deal of care to examine my eye, concluding that I needed to go immediately BMEC where they performed an emergency vitrectomy. Thank you ??

Woke up with a really painful left eye, which didn't resolve. I got an appointment the same day. Following a thorough investigation, it was sorted out there and then. Great service and can't praise too much.

I recently visited Albrights because after a recent fall when my nose was broken in three places. I was feeding pain in my rye. I couldn't have wished for better care right from the welcome from the receptionist to the thorough and friendly examination from the optician. In my opinion the service was excellent. I had real confidence in the optician and because he had excellent knowledge and state of the art equipment he was able to give me an accurate diagnosis. On this occasion I didn't have a full eye test but will be returning when my next one is due

The staff at this company are very professional. I got my eye tested, a tutorial on how to insert and take out contacts as well as free samples to try before ordering my contacts. I have since messaged them on Google Maps to order my lens and another time to book an eye test for my 6 year old and they are always so prompt in their reply. As you've just read, I'm taking my daughter there and would recommend this company to anyone. Superb service ?

Simon is an great optician! He makes you feel very comfortable, taking his time to listen to any concerns and explains any findings clearly. He has been a major part in diagnosing my brain condition by immediately escalating his findings. I have a lot to thank him for as without his amazing work at Albright life could be a lot different.

Very good optician. Knows his stuff. His practice is tucked away so I know he would have more customers if he was more visible. I don't mind as he can spend more time with you as a patient. Keep up the good work!!

My wife came for a routine check simon told her to go to eye hospital as he found a swollen optic nerve basically he saved her life her blood pressure was so high she was in danger of a stroke so thanks to him she is still alive .it does sound unreal but trust me it is she had 2 days in hospital
