The staff here clearly don?t know how to answer calls . I called 6 times in just 30 minutes and not a single person bothered to answer. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable

Even though it appears there are lots of staff in the Specsavers Store in Bilston you will have to wait but this is because the staff are so constantly busy!
Staff work so hard and when they do finally get to deal with you are friendly, polite and very professional. Really think a bigger store would be great in Bilston!
If there was a way they could offer same day or even next day instead of having to send off to be done that would be the only recommendation I?d suggest along with a larger store.

First ever visit to an optician for me.
I also had the optional OCT test done in store.
The optician Ajay Patel was particularly helpful in explaining the results of the test and how the eyes change over time and what to expect going forwards and spoke with comprehensive knowledge.
I was met downstairs after the eye test with a somewhat 'pushy' salesman who didn't share the same qualities as the rest of the staff in-store.
It transpired the this was his FIRST day on the job though so maybe he'll settle down...
All in all I'd recommend the Bilston store.

I went in for an eye test, was treated very nicely by the people there. I was booked in to pick up my glasses and upon picking them up I was served by Raj, she was lovely and spoke to me and my mother (who came with me) she was having a normal conversation with us and treated us more as friends than customers! She was very helpful and knowledgeable and made sure i knew everything i needed to know before leaving. Absolutely lovely and so are the rest of the staff! Thank you Raj for making me feel comfortable!

Had a great experience with eye test but 2 weeks waiting for glasses to be told ( when I phoned them) that lab technician is off sick and don't know when he will be back is really not good enough , only 1 lab technician to sort out glasses- really! I have been working on VDU screen for last 2 weeks without glasses and head is banging! Struggling to read (work only) and to top it off they have had my money in full. Poor customer service not even a courtesy call to keep you updated.

This place is where staff are very polite and proffesionall and methodical in the tests they do and they don't keep you waiting for long periods of time I've been using this opticians for 20 yrs or more and will continue to use them and always recommend them to others.
