Food choices were bizarre the menu is very
over inflated very peculiar lunchtime menu very odd ingredients and very poorly presented and very odd taste combinations. I had the Arancini with lovage pesto. Very overpriced I would not recommend unless you like bizarre flavours.

Afternoon and evening were fantastic had a lovely time look forward to the next Motown event. I ordered the sea bass which was lovely. I asked to have salad instead of the other extras Sadly my plate arrived with the fish and the smallest bowl of salad which even when emptied I still didn?t have much on my plate. Considering that I wasn?t served most of my dish I would have expected at least a decent portion of salad to compensate especially when we weee still charged for the whole meal

We have been here a few times, on this occasion it was for a family gathering, as we know it gets quite loud, we booked the private dinning room which was a great choice.
Food is always great, altho on this visit a few mistakes were made but was rectified in a timely manor.
Staff are always fantastic, would have given a 5 for this but based on the food mistakes it?s a 4.
I would definitely recommend this place. Its a solid 4 stars from me and a very close to 5 star review.

First time here, since I moved away a long time back, but was ideal place to meet my parents, weather was good so made use of the lovely garden with outside bar and helpful staff, food was excellent for all of us and enjoyed the Devon Red. Inside looked good and will be back towards Christmas to soak it all in again. Highly recommend, plenty of parking and seating. Food choice excellent ?

We had a Sunday lunch, most of us had beef and the portion size was no more than a five pound note and cut quite thinly.
Vegetables consisted of a carrot cut in 2 and something that we were not sure of.
I would not recommend the Boat and definitely do not have a Sunday lunch

We went on 15/08/25 evening and had an excellent time. The atmosphere was very relaxed. Plenty of various sitting plans to suit various preferences.The food was great. We were served by Sue and she was excellent all the way.Staff go the extra mile to make sure you have the best time.Sue made sure all our drinks and food were served in good time.Considering it was very busy we didnt wait long for food and drinks Highly recommended

Amazing place for food and drinks especially if it's sunny, always a great atmosphere and often live music. The price is expected for the area and type of pub but 50% off on Thursday and Fridays is a big plus.

There were a few of us dining and we all thought the food wasn't up to expectations. Having dined here before and found it OK, we thought we were safe recommending you. It will be awhile before we will be persuaded to return.
