We were at the reggae night last night. It was a fantastic show and the food was great and the staff were really lovely... highly recommend.

Didn't eat here, but had a nice drink in the evening sunshine, after walking around the lake. Lovely clean restaurant/bar with friendly staff. Excellent outside seating area. Have eaten here previously and would happily recommend a visit.

Only went for a drink, so no idea on food. Sat outside in the evening - very pleasant. Walked round the lake, so happy to relax at the club house.

My mother-in-law and I visited this place on a warm day, as we specifically chose to come when the weather was nice so that we could take in and enjoy the views of the lake and the golf course. The food was lovely and hot. My mother-in-law asked for mushy peas, although what arrived was a mix of poor mushy and whole peas, which was disappointing.
I also feel that the staff should bring drinks from the bar to your table, rather than customers having to collect them themselves. Other than that, the food was very nice and the overall experience was pleasant.
I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends for a relaxed lunch outing.

Made a reservation on 25th June for my birthday with my husband for the restaurant having checked the menu before hand it all looked good on arrival we had to enter through the shop barman said that we couldn't go to the restaurant as it was a private function and we could eat outside or in the bar which was exactly what we didn't want however we decided to go outside we were then given menu the small plates finished at 2pm and the 2 course senior meal was no longer on their menu so why don't they update the menu on their website all in all very dissapointed

Great food at reasonable prices, good selection of beers, great view across the lake. Might take up their evening entertainment in future which includes 3 course meal at £30 per head. Definitely return.
