We visited for a friends birthday, a party of around 50 for a Sunday lunch and the roast was exceptional and the service outstanding! The roast was the best I?ve had in a pub without a doubt! Every single staff member was so polite and accommodating. We will happily make the 2 hour round trip again, it was well worth it.

Lovely visit to the Bulls Head at Barston yesterday. We went as a group with children and were given a very warm welcome and settled in the restaurant area. Staff were absolutely fantastic being very kind to the children and made us feel at home. Lovely food and a great atmosphere. Will look forward to our next visit!

Great Atmosphere. Plenty of choice and food okay, though my other half bit dissapointed with the portion he was served. The pie was dissappointing also mainly veg hardly any meat.

Enjoyed an excellent meal here tonight, the salmon was delicious and I managed to squeeze in a beautifully presented cheesecake dessert. Friendly service and good value for money at this lovely country village pub.

Just had a most spectacular meal, great welcome from all staff, very dog friendly, very delicious food, gammon, lamb curry, tapas, salmon , all excellent and very well prepared and presented.

The Bull is great for a night out and regular visits. I generally visit for the excellent Real Ale but on the occasions I have eaten there the food was excellent. The staff also help to create the ambiance. Lovely to have a traditional pub with proper beer and good reasonably priced food, too many have gone foodie and bistroey.

We?ve tried this pub a couple of times when under different management. Never felt really comfortable as it had ?this is a pub for local people? vibes. But, today, we were made to feel right at home by every single member of staff we came into contact with. And the Sunday roast was exceptional! My husband had the lamb and I had the vegan roast - both were great, as were the enormous portions of carrots, parsnips, leeks and cauliflower cheese that accompanied them. We finished off by sharing a delicious sticky toffee pudding and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his two beers too. Thanks all for a fantastic, great value-for-money lunch. We?ll definitely be back again soon.

A fantastic pub, with a great range of food - we tried some of the small plates. This tapas style was lovely, with well kept ales. Recommend for families and friends
