GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE

They were busy but every member of staff ran around like headless chickens looking after everyone. The food was beautiful, the service was attentive albeit a little slow but the staff were lovely and worked really hard. I don't know his name but the young man looking after us was brilliant. He wouldn't sell me the painting at the front door but we won't hold it against him! Next time I'll increase my offer, I haven't given up on it! We had 5 people celebrating a birthday and the birthday boy got a candle in his Tiramisu (although he was so drunk I had to talk him down from eating said candle!). Anyway... A lovely meal, lovely drinks and great service. I would recommend whole heartedly and defo go again. Oh by the way, the fillet steak was amazing covered in gorgonzola cheese sauce ?

On a return visit to this restaurant, we were very disappointed in the service we received and one of our main meals.
The starters were lovely, and the main courses looked delicious when they arrived. Unfortunately we had plenty of time to look as we waited for our vegetables to arrive. One of our meals, the Monkfish, was lovely but the other, the Bourguignon di Manzo wasn't great. Although it was cooked in a lovely sauce, the steak was very overcooked, tough and inedible.
We didn't get a chance to speak to anyone about the meal, as no one came to check if the meal was ok or to any of the nearby tables. Nor did the waitress ask when she came to take our plates, even though it must have been obvious that there was a problem by the amount of uneaten food.
When we raised the issue we were told they couldn't understand what had happened as we had the same cut of meat as everyone else. We were offered a 10% discount and a lackluster apology.
Sadly the service and the way this was handled has put us off visiting again. Every chef can put out the occasional bad meal but a proper apology was all we needed.

Fantastic Italian restaurant, great tasting food, wonderful service. Would highly recommend anyone to try this little gem out..

Food was very bland. The smell of the toilet whilst eating was not pleasant and to top it off the staff were not pleasant and to be honest rude. So disappointed. Total shame the Tipperary Inn closed as they were much friendlier and the food was much much better. I won't be recommending or going back

Food was good. It was a very hot evening and we were put in a corner table with a fan facing everyone else and away from us. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. The seats were uncomfortable and too low for the table and as a result I ended up with a lot of pain in my shoulder and back.

This is a genuine Italian restaurant with an extensive menu. We really enjoyed our meal with friends. The ambience and decor are good too.
