I am very disappointed with the service I received at my local Subway from Pradeep and the trainee staff member. At the start of my visit, I clearly stated that I wanted to take advantage of the meal upgrade offer while also redeeming some points I had collected. However, this was not processed correctly at the till.
Pradeep appeared not to understand the situation and made decisions without explanation, processing the transaction incorrectly. When I reviewed my receipt later and raised the issue with him, he simply said there was nothing he could do and placed the blame on the trainee.
This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable. As a result of this experience, I will not be returning to this Subway branch.
My Response to the owners post:
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the issue lies in how those mistakes are handled. This situation wasn?t about the free meal upgrade deal?it was about the response I received as a customer. The way you, as the Subway owner, chose to address my concerns speaks volumes about your approach to customer service and management skills. It?s important to recognise that leadership sets the tone, and blaming staff for poor service reflects a deeper issue, as behaviour often mirrors leadership.

For starters I ordered a footlong and got sent a six inch, I also ordered hashbrowns which did not turn up at my doorstep. When I tried to call up about this dilemma they did not answer after I phoned 3 times. Not impressed

The staff here are great and are patient when other customers aren?t so great. Credit to them.
Standing behind some rude customers I witnessed them handle it well and it didn?t impact their attitude when they dealt with me. If any of you guys read this I wish you well.

The employee who I believe is called John and think is a manager due to his different shirt, had a terrible attitude to service and his fellow employees. I overheard a conversation from him to say give less filling on my sandwich even though I thought it was fine. I find his attitude appalling and as I am a regular customer and this isn?t my first time noticing his snarkiness and rudeness towards customers I hope they have a change in management as soon as possible. I won?t be returning

The staff is too slow and the manager is always in ego and doesn't know how to talk with customer. I?m is in the restaurant and one of delivery driver will come for pickup the delivery and manager is talking with him to rudely like he?s something else not a human

Terrible service from site saying ready to collect to a 35min wait in shop and only two customers in. Then to run out of lettice and couldn't add a salad ingredient to make up for it unless I paid extra. Staff needs further training. Won't be coming back.

Food great and the asian guy serving was polite and friendly. However, the till was down so couldn?t collect points and the supervisor needs to develop his customer service skills.

Illegally don't honour the £4.99 footlong deal (the website specifically states ANY sub is fine and they don't even have the get out of jail clause of managers discretion). Will be reporting to trading standards

The guy put 4 rashers a bacon on my footlong.. I said, "Come on dnt be shy. Add some more because he hardly put any on, and they charged me for extras!#4 skinny bacon rashers ona footlong..At least put enough on to cover the bread!

Very poor service price is also higher than other subways. He said I can?t give you points bcoz system is down . I was going to throw sandwich in the bin ,I asked to put salad on sandwich but he refused ..???????????Today i waste money ?
