I ordered two birthday cakes from Carole at Simply Delicious and I could not be happier with them.
Carole was extremely helpful, took time to understand what I was looking for and delivered fabulous fruit cake and a sponge cake. Meticulous attention to detail, prompt delivery with care.
Anyone looking for a celebration cake I highly recommend you go and see Carole and let her work her magic.

I?m very sorry to write this review as we?ve been here before and couldn?t fault our experience but the supper with Santa was really poor. Our food was a sesame burger bun with a sliver of pork inside, was meant to be a roast pork bap. We heard all the tables next to us moaning about it too. We waited 1.5 hours to see santa who was very good going around the tables and delivering a present but the food and in between waiting for Santa was drab to say the least. Santa was there for 15 minutes. It was almost like they were waiting for you to spend more in the cafe whilst waiting for what you?ve already paid for.
Can?t say I?ll ever pay for this again.
It wasn?t all bad though but nowhere near the usual standard we?ve had in the past when visiting. Such a shame and very disappointing as I know this cafe is usually superb.
Again apologies for the review but I hope you try harder next year as we heard so many disappointed parents and children, who felt as we did.

Ordered a crispy bacon sandwich and a sausage bacon and egg sandwich. Waited over 30mins and still the order was not ready had to go to the counter to ask where our order was. When order came the bacon looked like it had been placed in a frying pan then taken out was not even fully cooked the sausages were under cooked. Very poor Service seems like they only want to serve people they know first. Wanted to dine in but had to have the sandwiches to takeaway.

What a fab place!. I came here with the kids for refreshments. Staff were welcoming / really friendly and customer service was excellent. Lovely atmosphere and lots to choose from.... you really are spoilt for choice! Can't wait to come back again

The food was lovely, everyone enjoyed it, lots of selection. I'm not convinced it was all fresh fresh but nevertheless it was nice. There was one member of staff I didn't get her name but she was really polite, nothing was too much trouble and just a really pleasant person. There were other staff members who could of been a little more friendly... I didn't want to ask them for anything as it felt like you were a pest. I kept my thoughts to myself until someone else in the group commented on the fact she felt a couple of the staff where a bit rude and everyone agreed, so that's a bit of a shame. But still it was good value for money and the one.lovely server made up for it!

I came in today with my friend. I had the best cottage pie ever, fantastic vegetables and the gravy was delicious.
My friend had chesse panini with salad on the side.
The food is fantastic with great flavours and the staff have done such an amazing job. That's why is gets busy because of the fantastic food and drinks. Am defiantly coming back again.

Visited on 10th May for afternoon tea with the family. The table was prepared in advance and the food and pots of tea arrived promptly. Everything was freshly made and delicious ? Many thanks to all the staff, we enjoyed it very much ?

First time here was busy to be fair cos of it being mother's day to etc just walked in looking for a table and a member of staff gave us their table which ess so kind we ordered all day breakfast it was excellent we will certainly be returning thanx guys

Unfortunately if you are vegan you have to pay a supplement, something I have never done in all the restaurants I have ever dined in, so I received hummus whilst my friend had smoked salmon? The tiniest slither of cheese on a dried up piece of cold potato , my friend slices of chicken on a brioche bun, I had 2 vegan chocolates my friend macaroons, plain fruit salad for me, my friend fruit trifle with cream, 2 of the smallest driest cakes, my friend a lovely fruit cake & lemon slice. Yet I have to pay the supplement and my friend pays normal price? I had very basic food, where as my friend had a variety of different foods and tastes, Completely ridiculous, never have I ever paid a supplement for vegan food !! Look around no one charges extra for vegan food, in fact you pay supplements for fish,steak etc. !

To be honest I used to love this place ,but the food is very over priced now ,for example a simple soup that is bought in and warmed up .I tried a quiche last time ,but OMG it was awful,warmed up in the microwave, ruined the pastry and was so soggy . Shame it was a great place for meeting up with family and friends

We decided to go for breakfast as we had been given a voucher for £10.00 . It?s a nice coffee shop and clean as a positive note but we ordered a farmhouse breakfast and a light breakfast and tea for 2 . Having perused the menu I was expecting a fresh breakfast but the tomatoes and mushrooms appeared to be from a Tin , no grilled tomato and no flat mushroom or even whole mushrooms but chopped and looked anamic. I also don?t like my toast already buttered and on my plate what?s wrong with a toast rack and individual butters Also the sausage had a strange texture and I was chewing the skin for ages , not nice. I suggest they get the .sausages and bacon from the butchers over the road especially as even with the voucher it still cost £22.00 . Hence disappointed .
