Can't speak to the hotel part, but the pub was good. The "American Pancakes" showed that they've never tried American food before...or at least not from anyplace good. Taste was fine, but the texture was very off. Wife and daughter still ate every bite. My full English breakfast was great. And the waiter was a delight.
A favourite with the townspeople, who use it variously as a watering-hole, The Rose & Crown is the place for a spot of lunch or a celebration dinner. Winning several national awards including being twice named in the Top Ten UK pubs in the last few years, The Rose & Crown also won Britain’s Best Brigade in 2017. We serve food all day, along with top-quality draught beers and have a carefully chosen wine list.
