I had an extremely disappointing experience last night at this pharmacy. Despite having an urgent prescription, the pharmacist refused to assist me, claiming that the system was down. Even after contacting my doctor and having them on the line to provide necessary information, she still refused to help and directed me to go to another pharmacy. This lack of assistance in a critical situation was both frustrating and unacceptable.

Very good branch of Boots. I shop here regularly and like their own brands. Also come to the Opticians here too. The staff are all very nice and helpful. The shop is bright clean and well stocked.

Pharmacy have really gone downhill. There was a time when every two months I would get a text from them to say my repeat prescription was ready. A few months ago they stopped requesting it so I now have to request it myself every two months from the GP but also unless I ring up the pharmacy and say I am waiting for a text to collect my prescription from goodness knows how many days ago do they then action it. Its just not good enough. I work full time and dont have time to constantly chase you. Sort it out.

I?m sad too say that on another ?I will give it a go visit ? I found my visit disappointing. The stock availability is awful, there is nothing on the shelves , there?s no tags too show what offers they have on currently and limited stock on the offer stands ! The delivery that was left in its wheelies is a potential tripping hazard left in a isle in front of the hay fever relief where you couldn?t move without it being in the way as it was left unattended. The staff on my visit today ( Sunday ) seemed disinterested, there was nobody available too ask a question about a product , unless you waited in the queue too find three members is staff at the tills ! It seems the store has lost its way , the stock availability is awful - what happened boots ?

The shelves are always half bare, quite often when I visit I'm unable to get what I'm looking for as it's out of stock. The automatic door makes such an awful noise that I just want to get out of there quickly, I don't know how the staff cope with it. I'd rather visit the Boots in the town centre, even though parking is harder. The Boots on the Shires has real potential but it's just so uncared for.
