Food was good but the manager seemed very panicked about having an allergy order and it took at least 20 minutes to get the bill and pay which was frustrating with bored toddlers

My mum and I visited on Saturday 9th March and the food was absolutely delicious. I haven?t been to a Zizzi for a while but I was really impressed at how good the menu was. Prices were a little higher than expected but the food was fantastic. However, we were disappointed to see one of the chefs - on multiple occasions - eating (mozzarella balls, garlic bread etc). I understand they must work longer shifts sometimes but if they need to eat, as a customer you?d expect them to take a break or at least be out of sight. She wasn?t wearing gloves either and didn?t appear to be washing her hands before preparing customers? food again following her various snack breaks. We were sat right in front of the kitchen area so it was quite off putting to see, and in my view, very unprofessional! The other chef was a man and we didn?t notice him eating in front of customers once during our visit. Apart from that, we had a pleasant visit and the food was wonderful, being able to use Tesco vouchers was a bonus too - oh and the lemon margarita cocktail was to die for!

We were served by a lovely waitress with a name beginning in A (sorry she didn?t note her full name in the feedback form as her pen ran out). The only think that has stopped me from giving a 5 star rating is that there was some confusion as to whether my card payment had gone through. This was after I had paid and was raised by a lady manager. It transpired that it was due to the fact that I had declined to pay the service charge so the transaction hadn?t been put through correctly on the till. I had paid for the meal for friends so this was a bit embarrassing and could have been handled in a better way.

It was my first time dining experience in this restaurant. My first impression in this restaurant was great. The hospitality service was excellent. However regarding the food that I had beef brisket my honest feedback the food was salty. That's why I can't finish the food. This is the only concern that I had.

I recently dined at Zizzi Stratford upon Avon and had a wonderful experience thanks to the fantastic service, especially from Michelle. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. I initially ordered the short rib calzone, but unfortunately, it didn?t meet my expectations?it was a bit too fatty for my taste. When I mentioned it, the staff was incredibly understanding and quickly offered to replace it with another dish, no questions asked.
The atmosphere was lively and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal with great company. I appreciate the excellent service and warm hospitality, which truly made my evening. I?ll definitely be back to try more of their menu!
