Last Saturday I was looking for a couple books that came out and couldn?t find them anywhere, so I went to look for a member of staff, and there was this well-mannered member of staff. He said that it usually takes a couple of weeks for recent books to come out, but he did say that he would look for them, and he found them and gave them to me. I would definitely be going back again on a Saturday or Friday since he mentioned he only works those days.

At 81 yrs old I went into WHSmith having been recommended by the lovely polite young man that Smiths may have it.
A slim rather rude lady sent me up 22 steps asking couldn't find it I came back down. To be told by the same woman it's upstairs no offer to fetch it so again I climbed the stairs. Eventually I purchased said photo paper but what a shocking experience. Everyone else in Stratford on Avon was lovely just Smiths won't be seeing me again!!!!!!!

Very rude cashier. When we asked for help with the self serve she was very ill-mannered and rolled her eyes and asked us to move in a very impolite way.

A large store was well stocked and clean. The ground floor is laid out in a strange way. You can go in on one street and come out on the other side on another street.

Poor service but it's not the fault of the staff; they do their best. Like many big chains staff levels are cut to the bone and it can take an age to get served here sometimes!
