Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The breakfast is great quality food i had to have a couple more sausage ? definitely recommend staying at the white Swan.

Car park could be better signed but it's great. Imagine it'd be quite warm in summer. Staff were excellent. Bed was huge. Great for a small wedding (40-50)

Looks like the management have moved things around in the bar area regarding new management staff.
We are local people and have been coming here for years. And have noticed that certain persons in charge of some shifts have zero people skills. They have come across very impolite and lack the professionalism that hospitality requires.
We love coming to the White swan, weekly, and enjoy the ambience and normal warm welcome from the majority of the staff.
We feel that unless certain individuals in the higher roles, have been properly trained to interact with customers with respect and kindness that they deserve, we will be looking at frequenting different establishment?s. Very disappointed this evening with the service.

What a lovely hotel with excellent rooms and staff. Couldn?t fault them, everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the hotel is perfectly located for accessing everything in Stratford Upon Avon! I would happily recommend this hotel!

Rooms: The room (104) was not representative of the website pictures. Only views of gutters and noisy air conditioning units creating a constant background noise. This was one of the hotels more expensive ?character? rooms but it was furnished with a modern sofa and there was only a curtain dividing the toilet/bathroom from the bedroom. Different to the website - Very dissatisfied. Hotel manager uninterested in complaint and I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
Food & drinks: The only diners and it still took 2 hrs to serve a 2 course lunch. No attention from staff who were clueless about what was included in the dinner, bed and breakfast deal. Asked to order desert and gave up after waiting 20 mins for staff to come back to the table even though we were the only diners!! No better than pub grub and drinks very expensive.
Noteworthy details: Hotel manager was very unhelpful and questioned our observation of the food/drink staff. Have stayed in a number of hotels in Stratford and this is the worst experience of them all.
