Just home from a great weekend staying at Limes Hotel, Michael the assistant manager, was brilliant, welcoming, kind and very helpful ...my room was clean well appointed and the bed very comfortable.....Breakfasts were well cooked lots of varietyWill definitely stay againLocation excellent for visiting surrounding places of interestRooms: My room was clean comfortable light and airyThe lounge and bar areas comfortableNearby activities: Anne Hathaways cottage within a ten minute driveStratford Centre an easy mile walk or 5 min driveThe theatre cafes pubs and shops all quite central with good parking availableWalkability: Stratford Centre an easy walk about a mile away from the hotel...Food & drinks: Several great places to eat a few minutes walk away,we ate at the local pub and the Chinese can highly recommend

Lovely hotel, very convenient for the wedding we were attending. Very clean. Staff and owners were welcoming, they even joined us for drinks after the wedding which was great fun. Comfy, large bed. Great breakfast.

Without a doubt one of the best hotel experiences I have had. The staff simply couldn't have been more helpful, friendly- and great fun. Rooms are brilliant, beautifully comfortable beds and great shower facilities. Breakfast was fabulous, and we even had a couple of drinks in the beautiful bar area during the evening. Cannot recommend highly enough, and such great value...especially considering how nice the area is - thanks so much.Rooms: Very comfy bed. Great shower. Desk and amenities. Very very clean, and perfectly presented. Everything you would want from a luxury hotel.

This started as a 2 night stay to which I added 3 more nights. As other reviews commented a very clean and comfortable hotel. In addition to the rooms Christina runs a good quality value for money restaurant.In a world where big chains used COVID as an excuse to cut the room cleaning bill it's really nice to be somewhere that maintains a high standard in all aspects.

Ideal location, staff friendly and welcoming,room nice but bathroom could do with a bit of TLC ,mould here and there and of you take a bath there's a very noisy fan that only stops once the plug is released, not exactly relaxing but overall a nice

As we?ve traveled across Europe and the UK, we have stayed at many bed-and-breakfasts. This is one of our faves so far!! Very clean and tidy place with a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The staff are outstanding and the food is amazing! Every dish we tried was delicious. Great parking lot behind the building. Rooms and bathroom comfortable and nice looking. Top notch 3 star hotel!!

We had a celebratory weekend break at the Limes. It was made a very special event by all of the staff who went over the top to ensure we had a wonderful stay. A big thank you to them all. The food was superb throughout the weekend. Our room was very spacious Rm 16 and comfortable. It was a very special visit.Very many thanks to all of the staff.Rooms: Excellent comfy room.Food & drinks: The food was high standard and attentively served.

Great location the rooms are very dated the curtains were very tatty, tried to charge us £20 for an early check in (1 hour early!) even though they admitted the room was ready.Served it's purpose as was attending a wedding nearby, thd hotel is in a very beautiful village.

All the staff were good but Lianne was a star, friendly, helpful nothing too much trouble, rooms clean & tidy, shower hot & plenty of pressure, if we're in the area & need a hotel wouldn't have an issue revisiting this place, location was good for us but if you wanted to walk into Stratford that might be a chore. Overall ?

Arrived for a early check in to a warm welcome and offer of some fresh milk for a nice hot drink in the room (which by the way never arrived)Room was clean and spacious. Lovely ensuite, mini fridge, wardrobe and settee. The bed was really comfortable and firm.Location was okay but as the bus failed to turn up it was a 30min walk back from Stratford. Good sized car park but entrance is easy to miss.Walkability: The bus stop is just across the road, but return was unreliable so it was a 30min walk back to the Hotel.Food & drinks: Breakfast was continental style and plentyfull, self service.Noteworthy details: I mentioned to the receptionist about not receiving the milk next morning at breakfast and her excuse was she couldn't find a milk jug. So tea and coffee in the room only applied if you take it black.

A little gem of a hotel on the outskirts of Stratford. Easy to find and a good sized car park at the rear. Had a warm welcome and the room was clean, well maintained and appropriately decorated. Breakfast was everything you need from a continental style and the coffee is delicious. ( My wife was equally complimentary about the tea) We will definitely return in our next visit to Stratford
