Very cold and windy day. The place was empty and they did not give us a table. They stated they were under staffed when there was maybe 2-3 tables eating. Not a nice experience especially that we were on vacation and took the time to walk to this place.

Absolutely appalling service.
Do not order a take away. They won't answer calls. Hang up on you. And even answered leaving no one on the other end.
Called 87 times in a row and eventually they just turned the phone off! 7 meals ordered and only 3 were the right orders!!!! These were only the cheap child meals too. Just shocked from a chain like this.

Ordered through just eat and after waiting over an hour for our food what arrived what completely wrong. One person didn't like pizza so ordered pasta, we received no pasta at all. 2 pizzas were totally wrong toppings...no option to fix via app, only get refunded, so we rang the restaurant and had no answer. They even picked up then put the phone down on us a few times! Totally ruined our evening, really disappointed.

Whilst the food was pleasant the service was extremely poor. We had to chase our mains an hour after ordering. When our meal was brought to the table it was not what had been ordered, and we never received our side. We will not be visiting again.

Food was great. Manager and his waitress (only 2 serving were bickering) he was friendly she was less than accommodating to other tables and looked moody/ had an attitude.

Its been a while since my friend and i had been to a Pizza Express. The menu has changed and is varied. I couldn't choose between a garlic prawn pizza and the goats cheese one. The waitress recommended a half and half which is a brilliant idea. The pizza was lovely.

Normally a favourite of the family but on this occasion let down by maybe a staff shortage but for a group of 7 we waited nearly 45 mins before food was served and not all dishes came at once. We chose to not stay for additional courses due to the lack of service.

The building itself has a stunning cosy, traditional interior, the waiters I encountered were lovely and catering. The food is amazing as I expected, and the billionaire sundae was the best pudding I have ever had, anyone who likes salted caramel, you need it.
