We went as a small family on a lunch time ordered lemonade and was flat 2nd one not so good any way ordered 3 mains 2 chicken Caesar salad and one pasta dish. Both salads were awful and our daughter?s pasta dish was cold around the edges and warm in the middle.
Told the waitress who took it back to the kitchen and as we was right by there we heard one of the kitchen staff shouting about it. This was liased back to the staff member with no apology.
All that was said we will take the mains off the bill no offer of any good will gesture. Shame as we do go a lot on Sundays and always the best roast dinner but after how we were treated we won?t be returning.

I don?t often write reviews, but our experience at Loxleys was so outstanding I feel compelled to. From start to finish, everything was just so good.
We were there for a pre theatre dinner. We often go to one of the restaurants on Sheep Street, Loxleys included. This day though, it was just beyond expectations and we were so glad we plumped for this one!
I had the scallops, the green Thai curry with king prawns, and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The scallops were perfectly seared, served with a silky purée and crispy elements that added great texture. The Thai curry was rich, fragrant and wonderfully balanced, with just the right amount of spice and creaminess. The crunchy onions and peanuts on the rice were such great. The chocolate mousse was indulgent and smooth, paired with the perfect accompaniments to make it even more special.
We shared a bottle of Ormarine Picpoul de Pinet, which we were delighted to find on a menu, a wine we'd enjoyed before. Crisp and refreshing, it paired beautifully with our food. Try it, you won't regret it.
Beyond the incredible food, the service was exceptional. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and funny, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. It?s rare to find a place that gets everything just right, but Loxleys truly delivered on this occasion.
If you?re looking for a fantastic meal in Stratford-upon-Avon, I highly recommend Loxleys. We?ll definitely be back.

We have been visiting Loxleys many times since in first opened on mini breaks away and now we go to Stratford upon Avon especially to visit our favourite restaurant.
Dined on Valentines Night as a couple and the food just gets better and better. The smoked Salmon starter was simply devine, the fillet steak medallions melted in my mouth. I opted for the baby new potatoes with Harrisa and chives and so glad I did . A scummy change from steak and chips. Completed my meal with a white chocolate creme brulee with blackcurrant ice cream and it is truly scrumptious.
Going to Stratford? Go to Loxleys but sure you phone to book to guarantee your table.

Ended up here because everywhere else was fully booked and if I were going to book to eat in Stratford on a Sunday again, I would just book straight here. The roasts were so good!! 10/10

Good value, great tasting food, lovely atmosphere and friendly service too. Dessert was expensive for what it was ( tiny pre-packaged sticky toffee pudding) but diner having the tiramisu said it was the best he'd ever had.

Lovely place for Sunday lunch. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was cooked how I liked it and requests made for lamb to be not so pink by others in the group. Came out perfectly as requested. Good idea to book as we did. Thank you for a lovely meal
