“This is a lovely store and one of my favourite Whittard stores. The customer service was genuinely friendly and helpful and it was great that we could try several different drinks before buying. We left with the sticky toffee pudding chocolate and the lychee and mango tea. Thank you for a good experience”

“Everyone was really helpful I needed a part for my French doors whilst they didn’t have it in stock they took the part number from my existing part and made efforts to locate this and ordered them for me. Took my number and when they arrived they gave me a call to collect. They also gave me other relevant advice with issues I was having with the French doors. All the staff were really professional and polite. I had a very good service and was impressed with their excellent customer service which is rare these days!”

“Visiting from Australia, this bookshop reminded me of some that have now gone from the larger cities - an eclectic range and sometimes eccentric organisation. This ensures the casual visitor can spend several hours with their head in a book on a subject completely unrelated to their reason for visiting (this is a good thing). Reasonable prices, friendly staff. Nice that their is a tea shop inside, too.”

“Huge choice of paint manufacturers and paint mixing. Large selection of wallpapers to choose from, although staff informed us that there were plans to refurbish the store and radically reduce in-store wallpaper offering. Please don't do that, Brewers!!! Very helpful and friendly staff!”
“Nice shop, well laid out and the staff are really nice. I visit often to find more goodies to add to my vast book collection. Not too bad price wise - theres definitely worse in stratford but some books I've found to be expensive, maybe they are valuable i don't know but im certainly not spending £20 on a second hand book. Overall though a great shop and definitely recommend a visit”
