This was the first time that we ( the wife and I ) had used this particular Greggs at the Maybird Centre in Stratford Upon Avon and sadly it will be our last visit. The staff in all honesty were not very friendly ( yes they do work hard ) and the seating and table tops where we sat were at best (dirty ) with what appeared to be a mixture of crumbs from previous visitors. My charred chicken sandwich was or would have been nice but for the honey mustard dressing which tasted awful and the wife ( after a 5 minute wait ) had a steak bake which was burning hot and only contained 1 piece of diced meat. Hopefully this place can improve as we have always loved our visits to other Greggs. One Greggs in particular for example is one in Kinwarton on the Arden Forest industrial estate. This place is spotlessly clean with lovely staff and beautiful food. This I not a personal attack on Greggs far from it as we have always loved them and will continue to do so.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sausage rolls seem to go very quickly.

They only have 2 types of pizza, cold or none . It should go to the bin as soon as they get cold but who cares .

Tried the new chicken katsu bake which was fresh from the oven and tasted great. Staff were pleasant and there was virtually no wait as it wasn't busy.

If that's what you call a bakery have a look at real bakeries in Europe. Italy, Slovenia, Serbia. Much more choices of everything. Greg's is nothing special.

Every time I go to Gregg's at the maybird Stratford upon avon I always have a issue. Thankfully Jake served me today and he's the only staff member in the past two years who has my respect. Friendly with customers and a positive attitude, much appreciated.
