Great location unless you are looking to park your car. Super expensive drinks but it is Stratford-upon-Avon so I guess that's par for the course. Cracking beer terrace right by the water with the swans and geese right there.

We ordered food and drinks for 4 at 2.15pm using the QR code at the table, paying the suggested 10% tip. The app said 20 mins wait for food, fair enough. However, after 20 minutes, we didn't even have our drinks, which were only bottles from the fridge, so no preparation was needed. I would've preferred a coffee, but according to the app, they'd sold out of literally every type of coffee. After 45 minutes, our food came, but the order was totally wrong, so the waitress took it back. After 55 minutes of waiting, I went to ask for a refund. While waiting to sort out my refund, the food came. The order still wasn't right, but we were too fed up and hungry by that point to send it back again. The nachos were disappointing, basically some dry chips with a spoonful of guacamole on top. The topping was gone within the first few chips, so we basically paid 6 quid for a bag of plain, dry crisps. I had the Caesar salad, and that wasn't much better. I'm assuming the person who made the salad has never actually seen or eaten a Caesar salad. It was a just bowl of shredded iceberg lettuce with bacon bits and some cheap Caesar dressing. I paid extra for chicken but even then, I got like 3 pieces. That cost 13 quid for basically 2 quids' worth of ingredients. Overall, we didn't have a great, or even good, experience. We were only visiting the area for the day, so it was meant to be a nice occasion but unfortunately it was marred by our disappointing lunch. On a positive note, the staff were pleasant, the decor/ambience was pleasant, and the outdoor seating area would've been nice if we could've got a seat.

Stopped for a pint. All artisan type of lagers, ale, stout etc. Had lager which was flat and tasteless. One bar person working who on fairness was very good but queues were out the door.
In my book not worth the hype.

We had this place recommended to us. It was nice enough place and I'm sure in summer being able to sit outside in the sun would be great. It was very quiet when we went so the atmosphere wasn't great. The new barman was great and chatty.

I came in for a staff party a couple Friday's ago. We all had a great time but the bar was woefully understaffed. With there being over 30 of us plus other customers and only one lone barman. But hat's off to Hugh for managing to handle it through the night. We'd pre-booked weeks in advance so, you'd think the management would've scheduled better

Service was extremely poor, uncoordinated, slow, (no sense of urgency), and the server expected / allowed us to put our purchases on the tray, ourselves. 0% customer service !!

Disappointingly cold food. The staff did their best to rectify the situation, but it really didn?t undo the the fact that my dinner time was wasted as there was nowhere else open to go afterwards.

Cardboard boxes awful. Order incorrect, arrived at different times, only 2 of us!!! Unimpressive food. Bar staff beyond stressed and miserable. Poor serving waitress working a very busy Saturday afternoon alone! Overpriced everything.coffee unrecognisable and undrinkable
