I would certainly avoid using this agent if you are planning to sell or purchase a property. We had an offer accepted on a property 9 months ago and have just had to pull out of the transaction.Poor to no communication from the estate agent, clearly not interested in managing the sales process between buyer, seller and solicitors. Been chasing for a month for an update on delays/no communication from sellers solicitor - eventually advised they are also unable to contact the seller (who knows how hard they tried?).Unfortunately the delays and lack of any communication caused us to pull out of the transaction, unable to get hold of via phone sent an email to branch with our concerns and reasoning to withdraw our offer - not even an acknowledgment or reply! Sums up this office.

We first met Amy when she came to value our parents? house. I was impressed that she measured all the rooms in readiness for a listing, even though we had only asked her for a valuation.Amy always took the initiative. She has been a pleasure to deal with, returning calls and keeping us as up-to-date as possible. She is a good communicator and suggested the buyer meet us to discuss certain technical issues, which I felt was very beneficial in building confidence between the parties. It is important that people are reassured that everyone is acting in good faith, that any obstacles are being addressed and that the deal will eventually get completed. This is all helped by good communication.We have sold a cherished family house and we are very happy with the sale price achieved.

I have now had a couple of separate experiences with Connells in Stratford, and they are awful. When I was renting they said it was fine to change the layout of the garden which they obviously didn?t check which led to the landlord being unhappy. When I was moving out I gave them 1 day specifically I didn?t want them showing people round as I as moving out myself - they booked in a whole days viewings and then made me feel bed for saying they couldn?t do them. And then recently I had to deal with them again (not out of choice) when I was buying a property this time. We ran into a few issues with leaseholds and they were utterly useless. Apart from Amy nobody seems to take messages, nobody calls you back, and nobody?s knows what?s going on. They seem to lose interest when it gets a bit complicated and every time I rang I had to explain what was going on and continually chase for help. They suddenly were interested again when my mortgage nearly ran out and they thought I might get one of their ?special deals? through them. The icing on the cake was someone calling me the day before I was completing asking me if I was still looking for anywhere to live! Completely clueless and did virtually nothing to help me buy my house. In fact they were a hindrance.Amy was helpful at times, and Ryan was the only person who as proactive and helpful - sadly I only got to speak to him a couple of times. If you can avoid Connells then do. Other agents in Stratford like Belvoir much better, Connells are hopeless!

Jade helped us find our dream apartment in the heart of Stratford. I was skeptical about moving and around Christmas time too however she made the entire process extremely smooth and reassured us at any given point. We have been living in our new home for around a month now and it?s perfect. We 100% would recommend speaking with Jade if you?re on the look out for a lovely place in Stratford and its surrounding areas. An extremely down to earth, funny and charismatic estate agent - who wasn?t looking to push us into placing an offer - which is hard to come by these days. Thanks Jade Morgan and the team :)

Really great experience, having sold and bought through Connells. We missed out on a couple of properties due to market competitiveness at the start of our search but Ryan and the team helped us to secure an even better property. We used Taran and the in house mortgage service too which was really helpful. Want to say a big thank you to Jade and Megan who were really supportive when we had to deal with complex issues and chase solicitors to get our house move over the line.

I?ve had a great experience of Connells recently. We?ve rented a property in Stratford starting at end of May 21, and Olivia has been brill. I instructed Connells of Stratford to handle the sale of my late mothers house. Amy the manager promptly inspected, and gave me a price indication and we instantly agreed to progress the sale. Within days we had several offers enabling me to accept an offer higher than the selling price. The house sale reaches completion tomorrow. Connells were very professional throughout which was appreciated, as I live 50 miles away. I would have no hesitation in using Connells again
